I can't help but mention to the person who took this great video that my son saw you up there before the march started, and he was worried you were a "crazy liberal sniper" that was going to shoot somebody. I believe you are standing on top of the JW Marriot. He just watched this video for the first time and reminded me. So funny.
Awesome is right! About 11 am, someone said there was 1 million people there. I asked one of the Capitol Police if they had an estimate of the crowd size. He grinned and told me he'd just heard 1.3 million people, and it was probably accurate, since people were still converging onto Pennsylvania Avenue from 12 different side streets. I asked again at 12:30 pm and was told more than 1.5 million, and before I headed back to the bus at 3pm, someone announced an "excess of 1.6 million".
I was so proud and happy to be a part of that day. Peaceful, fun, and inspiring!

Incredible!!!
Now, who is taking numbers for the supporting Tea Parties around the country in all the cities and states. We MUST have a total as close as possible to all those that participated because it is important that our EMPLOYEES know how many people are FED UP. The only thing they understand is numbers whether it is numbers of phone calls, faxes, dollars from lobbyists, approval numbers, it is what they live by. Some one some place MUST tally all the people who participated in the Cities and States across the country.
Ronnie - that was the most peaceful protest, as well as the cleanest that I have EVER been to. I had such a blast there and it felt so good to be a part of it.

I'm so thankful to know that we, as Americans, will not lie down and die to the socialistic regime our current administration is trying to force on this great nation!
I'm with Connie...FOX News will be the only station I watch from now on! Goodbye to CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, etc...
75,000 my A**. The most amazing thing I noticed as we headed for the buses was the incredible lack of debris. Can you beleive with a crowd like that that most everyone was polite, clean, and considerate. Yet we are called an angry mob. Ha.
I was so excited to be a part of this 912-March on DC on 9.12.09. I was amazed and delighted to see all the patriots file into Freedom Plaza, I arrived with a friend around 9am. By 10am there was not enough room at the Plaza to allow all to be there and the crowd grew down Pennsylvania Ave towards the Capitol, to the point that the March started at 10am instead of 11:30am. The Rally that was scheduled to start at 1pm started at 11am. It was uplifting to see so many patriots continue to march down Pennsylvania Ave for the next several hours. Approx 1.5 million patriots, grandparents, parents and children of all walks of life rallying for one cause Liberty and Freedom as our Founding Fathers laid out in the Constitution of the United States.
The sad thing for me was when I was returning home and waiting at the Reagan Airport for my flight. The TV monitor was pre-set on CNN and the little blip they had on the 912March on DC was disgusting and a total misrepresentation of the facts. They said it was a small group of racist, right wing extremists who they said were basically clueless. I had heard on many occaisions of the misrepresentation by CNN of the Viet Nam War, Iraq War and other events where people had witnessed for themselves, being there and seeing the difference in the reporting by CNN TV. Now, I have witnessed this same thing for myself...it just gives me more motivation to get the truth out there for all to know and to see. Everyone under reported the numbers at the March...now we know it is between 1.5 and 1.7 million. What other rally has had this many participants with such little coverage by the cable TV networks like ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC etc.
I say all should boycott these cable TV networks for ALL programming. Play with your children, watch FOX News, take a drive, play board or card games....anything bowling or get outdoors. just DO NOT continue to watch such a misrepresentation of facts and programming that is so mindless and does not contribute to the uplifting and growth of the individuals who watch them.
I am very proud of my country and will continue to fight for Freedom and Liberty. My unalienable rights are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness (property) which will always be mine!
