Sending a e-mail to Maine Rep

I just signed up for web site because im looking for folkes who are as fed up with Washington as much as i am. I've decided to stop remaining silent & to start making my opinions be known. I just sent Maine Rep Pingree a letter concerning the healthcare bill & i thought i would share it with everyone here & hope that all of us will write all our Reps. I've started with Pingree but i intend to let my feeling be known to ALL OUR SO CALLED LEADERS! Also i invite anyone out there to contact me and maybe we can kick around some ideas.

Dear Rep. Pingree

I wanted to write to you to let you know how strongly I feel about the wasteful spending going on in Washington and to implore to you NOT to vote for this health care bill in any way shape or form. I’ve lived in Camden Maine all my life and I’m proud to be a hard working, self reliant Mainer.

Please for the love of God don’t follow Obama’s Socialist agenda. I know you’re a Democrat, I was once one too, but don’t follow the rest of these progressives. We are suppose to be a nation of free loving, independent, hard working people. Not a nation of people relying on hand outs and scraps from our government. Remember the words of JFK? “ Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country” That democratic party is dead, dead and buried and has been replaced with “what’s in it for me” I am ashamed of the democratic party, I am ashamed of our President and I’m ashamed of our congress.

I do not consider myself an activist, protester or a boat rocker, but I’ve sat silent for way to long. I will not sit idly by and watch a once great nation get flushed down the toilet. I respect you and I respect the job you do for Maine but that respect only goes so far. When I hear Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid and their ilk call those of us who don’t agree with the socialist agenda as racist, GOP puppets, astro turf warriors, red necks angry mobs etc… I am not any of those things. What I am is mad as hell!. It only makes my resolve to stop this insanity stronger. And now I understand our now fascist Government wants people to turn in people who do not agree with their healthcare plan. (“report fishy information“)This is beginning to sound a little like 1930’s Germany and that will not stand! Please…please tell me you don’t agree with this.

However, should you fail to heed my wishes and the over whelming wishes of the country and vote for the health bill and all these other spending bills and blindly follow this Socialist, fascist president down the brimstone path to bankruptcy and certain destruction, know that I will fight you every step of the way. I am organizing in numbers and I will let my voice be heard and heard loudly. I will show up at town meetings, I will call Washington, I will start e-mails and writing campaigns. I will do everything in my power to see your not re-elected, you and every other politician in either party. Please don’t make me do that. Mainers are known for their independent thinking. Don’t make us known as mindless drones.
