The biggest snag probably would be that "Resisting" would mean that those who Resist will be unable to go to work and earn a living while Resisting. It is likely that the act of Resisting would make the whole job and workplace go away forever.
Probably very few people would be going to work, and things that we rely on would not be functioning.
Some of you may have big water storage tanks atttached to your homes and electrical generators and gas tanks for your home cooking and heating, but resupply would eventually be necessary. Gasoline for your car would be hard to find.
The idea of drilling a oil well in the back yard and putting a refinery in the garage would be a joke.
Utilities would be shut off due to the providors being unable to function and due to few of us having the money to pay the utility bills.
Other bill collectors will be showing up with the intent of carrying away our property when we stop paying our bills due to lack of money. A lot of people will find that there is some employment opportunity for them as employees of those lenders who will actually do the work of carrying property away as payment for unpaid bills.
In the mean time our country would be flat on its back, and aggressive nations that we have been able to keep at bay will then see an opportunity to invade, and they will do that.
Before Resisting it would be necessary to already know what to do when those snaggs get in the way.
Normally Resistance may only require engaging in Passive Resistance or Civil Disobediance. Just sitting down and refusing to move would be Resistance, but things soon get messy when we encounter those snags.
It would be like going to "The Field" but without daily delivery of hot meals on a truck. There would be no M-R-E, and we would have to eat anything that moves and does not eat us first. Digging "Cat Holes" and catching birds and reptiles would be the life we live.
I have lived that life relatively briefly with Army & Marines, but it was more than 15 years ago. If you have been to the field and know how to do it you may feel comfortable there, but just imagine how it would be if you had to take your civilianized spouse and children with you to the field. Just imaging all of the complaining that you would be having to listen to. Would that put any of you into a bad mood?
