Presidential Assault Upon Christians

The first amendment is alive and well in America, if you are an atheist, abortionist, secular progressive or a protected group under the new hate crimes legislation. The first amendment reads:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances

It should have, “unless you are conservative” as a tag line.

The National Day of Prayer was ignored by B. Hussein Obama, America’s President. Other than our current president, every president since 1952 has embraced and participated in the National Day of Prayer, Democrats and Republicans alike. B. Hussein Obama telegraphed this move when at a recent press conference in Turkey he said, that Americans "do not consider ourselves a Christian nation," This is not reflective of America, but rather of President Obama’s personal beliefs, an open attack on traditional Judeo-Christian beliefs. A leader sets aside his personal beliefs and leads, in this case by carrying on a tradition in line with the beliefs of most Americans.

Combine the hate crimes legislation recently passed, that makes pastors, ministers and conservatives who speak out criminals, and infringes on their first amendment rights of free speech and freedom of religion with the ignoring of the National Day of Prayer, one of the most disrespectful things ever done by an American President and you have a new frontal attack upon Christians. While attacks upon Christians is not new, attacks by the leader of the United States of America is. Let this serve as a call to action for the ‘silent majority’ in America.

It is not time to turn the other cheek in this matter. It is not time to look the other way and pray that things will get better. It is a time to thank the Lord for the blessings we have and to ask for the strength to stop the assault upon our freedoms, our Constitution and our faith. I implore you to step forward and join today’s patriots in defending the Constitution and protecting our Christian way of life. The founding fathers proclaimed our rights as God given for a reason, they are. But, it is not up to our Lord and Savior to allow us to keep these rights, it is up to us to keep them. Join in the fight to worship and live as a free people, by going to www.resistnet.com and joining your state group, as well as many of the faith based groups and help us take back America.

Thank you,

Very well articulated indeed. But we would do well to remember that this will be a long war with battles won and lost. The spiritual war between good and evil with last until Jesus comes again and settles it for eternity.
Ultimately we will be victorious. However, how we live now and what our vision for America's future will be is our choice and we must continue on in faith our loose.
