Power corrupts, and you can see it every day. It's sickening!

These egomaniacs, are getting more nausiating by the day. Among the worse is the Honorable Senator Christopher Dodd (D) Connecticut, this guy is a real winner, been in Congress for over 35 years. A fine gentleman indeed, then there is the Honorable Senator Harry Greid (D) Nevada. You can not find two more fitting examples for the addage, "POWER CORRUPTS", put these two guys together and you have the very best argument in the world to sponsor "TERM LIMITS". Now you can multiply their motis operandi many times in the Senate and Congress and apply the "Pay as you go" theory to all their respective long term cohort legislators and see how close the combined monetary returns for each match our National debt!
My thinking is, how else could these otherwise worthless human beings keep getting elected year after year feeding from the public trough openly and unconcerned about criticism, arrogant about who,what,where,when and why they do anything, right or wrong? It must be absolute control of numbers, that is to say they have a system which utilizes, tracking polls and how much they can get away with. Most if not all are multi-millionaires, (for their brilliance?) and have life benefits, given to themselves worth millions more.
All or most of this could be stopped, if we could only find the key to the legislative longevity door , lock it and throw the damn key away! Even two, six year terms would curtail most of it as the corruption manifests itself mostly for the long term potential of the leaches who attach themselves. Amen
