Obama's "Saved Jobs" Lie

This week President Obama’s team once again repeated what I believe is the most outrageous lie of his Administration. The President and his team again claimed the stimulus has “saved” 150,000 jobs during a time when 1.6 million jobs were actually lost, and job losses were far worse than had been projected if there had been no stimulus spending.

Obama’s magical “saved” jobs

This is the same BALD-FACED LIE Obama has been telling since last November -- when his plan to “create” jobs was carefully morphed into a plan to “save or create” jobs. That small change has given Obama the ability to claim that his programs are working even when they are failing.

No matter how bad the economy gets, or how high unemployment rises, Obama and his team can simply CLAIM that their massive stimulus spending still “saved” jobs. But it is a bald-faced lie! And we have the proof.

Unemployment is WORSE that Obama even projected!

In January, Obama announced his big-spending “stimulus” would “save or create at least 3 million jobs by the end of 2010.” Obama justified this by saying his spending PLAN would cause unemployment to be lower than what economists were projecting, meaning 3-4 million jobs would be saved or created. The Obama team even published a graph to justify the spending plan. The difference between the higher line (no stimulus) and the the lower line (yes stimulus) is the "saved or created" jobs. Just one problem. The opposite has happened… unemployment has soared to 9.4 percent in May and hundreds of thousands more jobs have been lost than had been originally projected even without the stimulus. The blog innocent bystanders very clearly pointed this out by charting the actual unemployment rate on Obama's own graph.

Yet Obama still claims to have “saved” 150,000 jobs. In fact, using Obama’s own warped logic, there is a better case to be made that Obama has DESTROYED hundreds of thousands of jobs since the economy is WORSE than what was expected.

For months, Obama got a free pass from the liberal media on the "saved jobs" lie. But this week, some bloggers and a few news outlets started to call him on it. John Ward of the Washington Times had this to say. This from the Wall Street Journal calls out the "phony jos claim." According to the Journal, Democratic Senator Max Baucus even called Geithner on the lie:
"You created a situation where you cannot be wrong," said the Montana Democrat. "If the economy loses two million jobs over the next few years, you can say yes, but it would've lost 5.5 million jobs. If we create a million jobs, you can say, well, it would have lost 2.5 million jobs. You've given yourself complete leverage where you cannot be wrong, because you can take any scenario and make yourself look correct."

Help Expose Obama’s Lie!

This one lie about “saved jobs” justifies every socialist, big-government, liberal spending scheme this Administration devises! If we allow Obama to get away with this lie, he will claim political success and doom America to another decade of statism! We simply cannot allow Obama to get away with this bald-faced lie about “saving” jobs.

Please call President Obama and your members of Congress and tell them that Obama must stop using the deceptive “saved jobs” language.

She said "I was a fool, I voted for him" I was proud to say "I didn't, I could see right through his lies, after all what has he ever done?" "He never ran anything, not even a candy store and now he's running and ruining the greatest country in the world" I really think him and his cronnies hate America. My husbands pension is being taxed more because of his program "Making Work Pay Tax Credit" So he is taking from seniors their pension money by taxing them more after they worked hard and already paid taxes all their lives? Wait till more seniors and pensioners find out.

The Indians were sacred out of there land by "The Rule of Law".

I think it might of been Ben Franklin, who said our country required honest people to function properly. Or something like that. Well when Sherman torched the food Crops of the south and people stood by thee were no more honest people left. That means law only worked for the corrupt and it has not changed. The Constitution is the only set of rules left that were pinned by honest men. Why cant we get it nothing less than secessions will give us the opportunity to rebuild our unfair legal system, and then only if God Jesus permits. Unemployment is much higher then what is reported because it does not account for the millions of self employed people who do not qualify for benefits and have no work. Meanwhile, there are illigal immigrants working in this country who are not on the books and pay no taxes but who collect welfare benefits and are crushing the health care system.
Americans who still have a job will be Taxed into submission to pay for all this spending as well as people who are jobless but will still face new taxes on everyday necessities. Meanwhile, illegals get a free ride on the back of America.
Nafta and illegal immigration has crushed our economy but no one in Washington will admitt this. Obama continues to apoligise to the world and put America down. Congress last week apoligised for slavery, which I had nothing to do with nor did my ancestors. Meanwhile, America is being forced into slavery, third world status and a dictatorship by an egotistical maniac.
Time to wake up and stop the destruction of America.

He constantly uses the "fudge" when he talks and to people that love him, he is always right no matter what. I am sick of both political parties duping US, starting with The Big O (zero). Tea parties are the answer, join one in your area on July 4th and in Washington DC on Sept. 12th and be heard.

When you have over 55% of the total population that lives off the Government, that really is a problem. Add to that 50% do not pay any taxes at all, so, of course this is the avenue this muslim criminal drives down. This is one of the most evil men on the face of the Earth people, and I hope this March on Washington goes very very well, this man is the number one enemy of the United States of America, a sickening liar and a wannabe dictator.
