ABORTION: AT THE CORE OF OUR NATION’S SOUL



Remember?...the very first profound question, probably, that you ever asked?

“Mommy, where do people come from?”

“God made them...now run along, Mommy’s got work to do.”

“Mommy, who made God?”

What was the answer? Do you remember?

This is an age-old question. Science is still pondering another age-old question: “What came first, the chicken or the egg?”

Pro-murder, excuse me, “Pro-Choice”, “philosophers”, like most of this Nation’s prominent liberals, have the answer to these age-old questions. Their answer is analogous to Mommy’s:
“Run along now, you flat-earth, redneck, right-wing Christian hate-mongering murderer, I’ve got work to do. I’m pondering on what the meaning of the word “is” is.

“Is”. Such a complicated word. Present indicative, third person singular of the word BE.

“BE”...Being. Present indicative; 1. As the substantive verb, be is (there’s that pesky word IS, again) used to mean (a) to have existence, truth, or actuality; (b) To take place; (c) To stay or continue; (d) To belong; befall................and so on, and so on, to infinity. Circular logic. It is what it is. The chicken came first, because if it didn’t arrive here, there would BE no egg. “There, run along now.............” and so on, and so on.

The Founding Fathers knew about the importance of existing, in the present and in the future. That’s why they made our being, our existence, a human right, in the very first sentence of the Constitution that they gave to us. In the Preamble, when talking of human Liberty, they secured their Rights, and the rights of Future Generations, with the words “....We the people.....and secure the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity (future, yet to be born generations) do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” They never concerned themselves with the meaning of the word “is”. They knew what it meant, by definition.

The practice of abortion, and our condoning of it, constitutes the very core of our moral fiber as a Nation. It is at the heart of our being. If we cannot allow some of us to BE, then we, therefore, do not have a Right to Be. We, by allowing this scourge to be, have forfeited our own Right to exist, converting that Right to mere privilege, vulnerable to the whims of future despots, who would be destined to rule us. If we cannot govern ourselves, protecting our own Posterity from casual extermination, then we, too, are at risk of casual extermination. At any point of our existence, whether at birth, or in old age.

Abortion. The sticking point in a thousand debates, most recently, the Healthcare debate.

“Mommy, why was I born?”

“Because abortion was forbidden at the time of your birth.”

“Mommy, what is abortion?”

Abortion (a-bor’ shen) The artificial expulsion of a fetus prematurely; partial or complete arrest of development in any thing

“Mommy, was I ever a fetus?”

“No, dear, you have always been a being. A human being”

“....is that why you didn’t abort me?”

“Yes.”.

Murder (mur’der) 1. To kill ( a human being ) unlawfully and with deliberate malice; to willfully and wantonly terminate the existence of ( human ) life, at any stage of development.
