RJ said… - I have a Kimber Warrior and a Colt M1991A1 Commander. I like both of them. Then the old ones, I have several from the 1913 to 1945 time frame. Several nice originals and several rebuilds both normal combat grade and National Match.

- I visit CO and NM and now that I have 50 state CCW (one of 2 things Bush did that I was happy with- the other being the sunset on the AWB) and I pack there. I also do the same if I go up to Reno. I used to be stationed at NAS Moffet Field and lived in Mtn. View. Good for your dad on the C&R FFL. I would have done that but I don't want to give up the right to not have BATF show up and "inspect". I usually deal in the C&R and antique guns. I love Military M1911/1911A1's Garands, Mausers and Enfields.

- Hello again. I know all the CCW issues pretty well. I know how to get away with as much as possible under CA law. Assault weapons banned????? I can still buy a belt fed 1919A4 semi-auto because it skirts the defintions part of the ban. High caps???? I go to Reno. LEO's are allowed to "import" leagally. I keep the section of the CA Penal Code with me though in case any gun hater cop gives me any grief! I have everything I think I will ever need.

- Hey, that was fast. I tip my hat to you for actually leaving CA for gun reasons! I am a gun owner and collector and just a few minutes ago there was something on the radio new at the top of the hour about some new leg. on restricting High Cap Mags. I thought we were all safer because they had done that already. Well I can retire in 7 years and hopefully I can keep my head above the water level with all these gun restrictions so I can follow you out of Ca. I have a slight edge in that I'm a law enforcement officer. I feel for my fellow Californians who don't get the same ability to carry that I get and don't like to feel that I should get something for working where I work to get what they should already have! Did I make sense there. I got a Newt Genrich solicitation in the middle of that and didn't want to hang up on it.
