Well, it looks like you are off to a good start...you have joined five groups all ready, one of which is your 19th District group. I see there are 17 members.
You may want to converse with to see if they are meeting on a regular basis. If not, this puts you in the perfect position to initiate those meetings. Most of the time, people will wait to be led. If so, just step right in and lead.
On Senator Brady, the only thing I know of late is his wanting tougher standards for whistleblowing...which is real good legislation, especially for this state.
As far as I know, nobody is challenging Burris...I do not even have in my heart to call that man a Senator. I will say this, whoever challenges that man will be one courageous cuss.
Back to Senator Brady, you may want to double check this guy as well. There are a lot of neo-cons in the Republican Party. If the good Senator is not willing to move government back within its limits as prescribes by the Constitution, if he is not willing to throw out the income tax so that government can TRULY be reduced in size to constitutional proportions, then, he needs to be thrown out as well. Your district should require him to make a pledge that ALL his actions meet constitutional muster. If he does not know, then he should vote no. Just like Ron Paul.
