General Membership Meeting - December 1.
We will be discussing CSA's PLANS for the 2010 elections.
This is a chance for our Nassau members to participate without having to drive into Suffolk.
Progress reports on membership activities as well as plans for 2010 will be discussed.
We are looking to target Carolyn McCarthy and other local elected officials that need to be dealt with in 2010.

- Hey Ron,
I saw him posting more to your district page than the others, so I assumed he was in your district. He also posts to other districts in the region. Check your page and leave him a message. I don't have any other specifics for him.
I'd suggest going back over your dist. 4 pgs. from the summer and maybe to the spring to see who had been most active in the past and contacting them to get a little help in trying to broaden the scope and grow the district.
The best way at the beginning is also the easiest. It may seem obvious, but you'd be surprised how many don't use this simple plan to start. Maybe it's too obvious. Here goes...
Just tell all your family members, friends, and coworkers about what we're doing. Tell them you're the district leader, you already have an 'in' with those people. If they're of like mind and agree to join, have them each contact at least five more people with the caveat that they'll tell everyone that joins to contact at least five more and so on down the line.
In the meantime, stay active on your district page and wait to see how many actually join. By the power of multiplication, you can grow your district substantially in a short amount of time. Every so often, get all your members, new and old, to do the same again with their making new contacts. Maybe quarterly, you decide what's best for your district. If there's anything else, please write again. Thanks and be well.
