My grandmother was fond of saying "right is right and wrong is nobody." Those words have stuck with me long after her death, and recently I've found myself thinking of them quite frequently. Over the last few weeks, some Patriots that I ordinarily consider to be rational, principled defenders of limited government and strict Constitutionalism have applauded or, worse yet, initiated, actions that betray the very principles they have so long championed.
