Connecticut's 3rd District has been in existence since 1837, having been organized from the At-large District. It is centered on the city of New Haven and its immediate suburbs.
DO NOT accept Obama's eligibilty/ineligiblity as a "political question". SCOTUS has dropped the ball at a time when the liberal left is doing its utmost to dismantle the Constitution, including attempts to convene a Constitutional Convention.

- Kathy, please contact me. I am working on the precinct project for Greenwich and nearby towns. It's a tough row to hoe, but progress is being made. However, the time is growing short. The caucuses are in early January. We need to learn the by-laws and how to challenge them so there are primaries that give us more time to get our act together. You asked how to get involved as a precinct committeeman in CT. Gary Barnes can help you with that. However, Gary has indicated the CT Republican Party is very hard to "penetrate." I don't know if that's the case or not. I hope you will try to penetrate it and become a precinct committeeman there. As you may know, Peter Schiff is running in the Republican primary for the opportunity to run against Chris Dodd. I suggest you contact Schiff's campaign and ask for their help. Or, if you know of any elected Republicans, contact their offices for help. Keep in mind the Republican Party itself in CT MAY NOT WANT YOU OR ANY OTHER CONSERVATIVES TO GET "INTO" THE PARTY TO UPSET THEIR NICE LITTLE FIEFDOM. Be persistent. Get as many conservatives as you can to do it with you.

- HI again, since I am just learning to navaigate I left a message below before reading my own page... lol go figure, I too do not want to stay over night. I was hoping to catch a bus so I wouldn't have to drive down, I figure we are going to be tired, It will be a long day and a long drive as I said below I am hoping to hear soon about a bus out of Windsor and if this is a possiblility I will let you know. If not I definately would consider car pooling I too have another person who wants to go. My question to you is do you know your way around DC I haven't never been there so this is why I wasn't crazy about driving into the city with no knowledge. Kath

- HI Kathy, Thank you for inviting me to be your friend. Are you going to DC on the 12th? I am trying to go with a friend. We have been looking for a bus out of the Hartford area or close enough to catch a ride. We only want to go for the day then back again on that Saturday. I am waiting to hear from someone local whom I heard from another person that they were organizing transportation out of WIndsor. I hope to hear from them soon. If you are going are you going by bus or other transportation. I heard today that Glen Beck is going to be there and I am thinking he is going to be speaking I sure hope so. It showed on his program he will be there from 1 to 3pm. This week his program has been over the top. Finally someone speaking out for us who do not have a platform and saying what needs to be said. I just wish more people would wake up. Living in CT is tough, too liberal a state I haven't talked to anyone I know personally that is interested in going but this has to be the most serious situation our country has ever faced in my life time inside our own borders and as the man says it has blood shooting out of my eyes.
