Patriots among us

I saw Kath write this: "My biggest concern is the way our "leaders" have, over the past decades, flushed our country down the toilet! It seems that there are very few PATRIOTS among us and that needs to change."

Hello Jim....Thank you for thinking me worthy of being in your circle of friends.

I'm glad you like the nullification idea. It sounds like it could be the last line of defense and something that could hold things at bay until we get things changd in the 2010 elections. We just need to beat on our state Reps. I plan to become a little nuisance if need be. I do not want to hear excuses why it can't be done. I want to see them at least try!!!

Welcome to the PA groups. It's a great bunch of folks with lots of good idea and info sharing. I look forward to seeing more of your post in the future.

My daughter worked for "W", then got canned when the Obama Administration came into power. She had already left and was a consultant that they hired in the Centers for Medicare/Medicaid to help bring them into the 21st Century. Because she was under contract, they could just tell her "so long" and that's what happened. But she didn't want to be in that atmosphere anyway. I have a son who just retired from the Air Force and a step son who retired from the Navy--both Iraq-Afghanistan veterans. My husband also served during Viet Nam so we are a patriotic, civic-duty minded family. We do what we can for our kids and grandkids.

Couldn't help but to notice your reasoning for joining the battle, "I'm here for my kids. I owe it to them to get off my butt and take action." Amen! That has been my biggest driving force, also.

No matter why you have joined the battle, the important thing is that you are now part of a growing majority of Americans who oppose the suppression of our liberties and freedoms in America.
