I would also add this policy for medicare and medicaid. At present I am retired and pay $300 dollars a month for wife and myself threw company plan that I retired from. As soon as I turn 65 I'm automatically switched to medicare and medicaid, Why?...

My biggest concern about the Obama presidency and or the leftist agenda is?: Incompetency and marxist plans.

Who is this guy? A little more about me.

I have been married to my wife, Dawn for over 26 years. We have three great kids two of which are going to Texas A&M. Our third is still in HS. I am a Boy Scouts of America adult leader and am very proud that both of my boys have earned the rank of Eagle Scout. My vocation is business management. Specifically, I am a national sales manager for a medium sized food company. I am an Endowment Life Member of the NRA.

I have volunteered to act as our District's Coordinator because I believe that time is of the essence in our country and that we need to act immediately to get things turned around. That means we have to give of our own time and actually DO THINGS.

I have a meeting request with Lloydd Doggett's staff in Austin for the last week in April. Gerry D. (our state director) and I will be making this call to cover our concerns on behalf of district 25.

The next item on my "todo list" is to get a meeting of all district 25 members together so that we can meet and start organizing. There are a lot of things we can do and I'd like to get input from everyone as to what to do first, etc.

I am planning on participaing in the Austin Tea Party on April 15 as well - I strongly urge you to check this out as well. These Tea Parties are taking place all over the country and will be a great place to get exposure for Grassnet/Resistnet!

The reasons for the out of control cost of healthcare are well known and documented.

1) Government programs. Medicare and Medicaid programs that cover millions in this country and cover the high costs that people spending their own money otherwise wouldn't allow. It's well documented that the docotors/healthcare providers overcharge to the hilt when these programs are covering the charges even though the rates for the charges are lower than the "market". Sen. Charles Grassley: "AIG President should appologize to the American people or commit suicide"

When I heard this quote from Senator Grassley, it really made me mad.

This attitude and focus is patronizing and insulting to the intellegence of the American citizen.

What is Senator Grassley realy saying? He's stating that the President of AIG (Liddy) is the one primarily responsible for the colapse of his company and the wasting of federal tax dollars - essentially. That, and he is allowing the payment of the bonuses that are at the top of the news banners right now.

Just joined this group - my thoughts

I am joining this group because I believe that our country is heading down the path to destruction - or at least to a radical change of the governmental structure and economic system to more closely resemble those failed systems in Europe = destruction.

This is totally unacceptable to me. I intend and will do what ever it takes to prevent this from developing. I have three children and I will not sit by and watch this happen without making an effort to prevent it. Especially since I know that t… Continue
