Anyone remember the new law after Enron?
How many of you remember the action taken by congress after the fiasco with Enron? I can't remember the name of the bill, but essentially, every business CEO had to sign off at year end that all accounting numbers were true and correct to the best of his ability, and that that CEO would be held accountable, up to and including imprisonment, if records show cheating or miss-reporting of numbers.

As we always know, liberals always hide their agenda behind what they spin as great things for America. Here is another one!! All those billions going to colleges? Well, one of the stipulations is that Christians can no longer "worship" from any of the buildings "fixed" by the "steal from us" package!

Donald Patterson, I am not asking for anyone to hold my hand, the reason I fell so far behind in my knowledge of blogging and some of the new technical things is because I am pretty old and 3 heart attacks and two strokes have had quiet a toll, That happen 4 years ago, but I have been trying to recuperate this last 2 years, and now am feeling a lot better and seem to be getting into great shape.
All of that seemed to take up most of my attention, and time awaits for no man.
So if you will cut me some slack, and I will not need you to hold my hand, unless you are a nice woman about my age. Then at the same time, I will do my best to get up to snuff on this.
I want you to know also that after being the head of my dept in the medical field for over 20 years, the only crying I ever did, was when a child or such died. Your remarks were a little astonishing, and a lot in bad taste, I think you must have thought they might shock me into doing better, well, they did some, but the others were the big help, thank you all for your encouragement everyone, I will do better.
About the preaching, you’ll have to just put up with some, I happen to believe that this country was started as a Christian country and two things are sacred to me, our Constitution, and my religion, I don’t think I have a right force it on you, but you have no right to shut me up, your right is, you don’t have to accept it. I will make it very simple, I think the best answer to all, all our problems could be solved by two things, the first is to read 2 Chronicles 7:14, the second is to follow what it says. Gary, I respect how you feel and I won't argue your decision. I do want to say my piece as we part...I did what I did for the same reason I came to this site, which is to stand up for what is right. I do not have a 'dog in this hunt', I don't know Tone that well and I have nothing personal against Darla, however, there is a grave mis-justice happening on this site.
As for my tactics, I did it to force the issue, to not allow my comments to be disregarded. Was it behind her back? Don't think so, it was right on the front page.
My leadership is not the issue, and I feel you are slipping in your christian values by deflecting the conversation onto my supposed faults. As the old saying goes, two wrongs don't make a right. By the way, I recently took over leadership in my local group, Orlando, and more than doubled the membership in less than a week. I am also currently assisting in setting up a Tea Party here. And your contributions, sir?
