It’s the most powerful office in the world because Precinct Committeemen determine who gets the chance to be elected to office at every level of government. You seemed to have a problem with 83% of Americans wanted to kick them all out and 50 some % that would vote GOP that you posted.
Polls are taken with different criteria; the larger number was a random poll of households where a registered voter was in the household with no demographic or partisan affiliations. The poll you are talking about was a poll reqauested by the GOP using a GOP donor list based on the last 18 months.
Remember what Disraeli said; "There are 3 kinds of lies; lies, damned lies and statistics."
The GOP is so fractured today your premise of taking over the precincts is about 10 years late sir as an entrenched network of old timers seeks to reamin in POWER and that sir is the problem their continued use of the word POWER just as the Dems cried for the return of their power which they now have and received at the hands of disgruntled Republicans and those so hungry change in our government they elected a educated idiot and fascist.

Regarding your questions at the end, regarding coordination, communication, etc., you're just going to have to deep trying to get all the conservatives you know coordinating and communicating among themselves as much as possible. Michael Steele and the RNC promised web 2.0 tools to allow us to do this; another promise broken. Although they promise these tools will arrive online by January. I don't bank on that. I recommend you find someone in your ranks who is a "techie" and ask for help. I use e-mail to communicate with as many conservative PCs that I know. I go to as many meetings as I can and try to get to know the conservatives. I don't hide my conservativism -- indeed, I use it as a badge and a lure to attract others.
Tonight I'm delving into the www.ourcaucus.com videos and materials. They are on the right track but, again, like most, super long-winded. I try to break down the problem to the basics. We all know we have too much government. It's out of control and now run in Washington by Marxists and socialists (these are not exaggerations but facts). Only 60 per cent of registered voters voted in 2008. "We the people" are not engaged as we should be. We can change the leadership of the Republican Party. By becoming precinct committeeman. So, let's do it. Pretty simple.

I want to reiterate Jerry's comment below about coordination. All of AZ's Democratic congressmen voted for the healthcare bill. 3 are very vulnerable, AZ-1 Kirkpatrick, AZ-5 Mitchell, and AZ-8 Giffords. That said, many of these districts cross through multiple counties, meaning that we need enough conservative PC's to vet out and support the best candicate we can in the GOP primary and then general election. The incumbents will have a fundraising and media advantage that has to be offset with grassroots. We have to get those conservative Republican grassroot in place for 2010. We have the same issues for Senator, Governor and state legislators.
So, how do we coordinate the PC effort, see were we stand in each county, which precincts need work, how close we are to fixing county and state leadership, .... How can we pull together this together in AZ and coordinate/strategize as effectively as NV has done?
