The fact that almost 1 billion dollars found it's way into obama's Presidential campaign efforts and the media & RNC say nothing. The fact that obama made it clear that the U.S. Constitution is obsolete.

- I sent several follow up e-mails to Romney and he has not responded. He made the assault weapon ban permanent in Mass, and participated in the creation of the fed assault weapon ban. I spoke to the NRA-ILA office after sending that e-mail at their request, and they were shocked. I believe Romney has been very clear where he stands.
The 2nd Amendment's purpose is clear, and it is "not" designed to protect hunting. If these leftwing freaks manage to ban assault weapons, we will be at a very serious disadvantage. Why people are so uneducated on this issue is beyond me.
My concern is that the repubs are going to force Romney on us because of his business background, and that he looks good in a suit. They are already pushing him and his wife on Fox News. As far as a third party is concerned, I understand your argument. But what do we do if they force another McCain on us? I'm sorry, but I will not vote for another RINO, period.
I served 12 years in the USAF, and received a USAF scholarship early on. When I entered the USAF, I already had over two years of college at 18 years of age. I regret not staying in.

- Yes Ben, I did get the emails. I have read them several times, and as usual, they say different things to different people.
He is a politician, and will ALWAYS answer this way, so one can read into the answer what they want.( or don't want, for that matter).
In my pure heart for the 2nd, I think we should have the right to own ANY firearm we can afford and want. BUT, that really isn't practical, if you think of RPG's, bazookas, full auto machine guns, even self propelled 155 mm howitzers would be fair game for purchase.
I do NOT have an answer, other than some form of control as to what a 'civilian' population can have. Yep, that chaps my ass also, but imagine MS-13 types, nut cases, and general run of the mill extremists with fire power that is available today. Maybe we have to be "proyected" from ourselves?
I am not a Romney supporter, but the blow-back in the last primary about him gave us McCain. Until the Republicans stop using the POTUS as a "life time achievement" award, and start to field some real conservatives, what are we to do? I don't thnk 3rd party is the way to go, so I am for holding the primary candidates feet to the fire with TEA party type questions.
What do you suggest?
I am Army retired, 30+ years, but medical and noncombatant. I have many field skills, as I was mainly a field medical officer, after having started out as a medic with one SEA tour with an evac unit. I did college at night, one course at a tme until I was able to 'bootstrap' the last two years at U of Nebraska. Then I served as medical officer for a round-out unit for 10th Mountain.
