Cheryl...I have the same questions. I watch Glenn Beck every evening. He keeps saying "stand up America". I say back to him, "we are calling, we are faxing, we are writing, we are emailing and we are even marching in the streets. What is missing??? What are you trying to say??? What else can we or should we be doing"????? I feel like there is that one thing that we aren't doing but for the life of me I don't know what it is. If our President signs the UN Climate Control Teaty in December and our Senators vote to ratify it, I fear the elections in 2010 will be too late. If we don't stop this I can't help but feel that all we hold dear will fade away. I'm sorry Cheryl. I have no answers, only the same questions as you!

I think we're starting to get their attention, although I agree they are not listening yet. Here in Nevada, Harry Reid is shaking in his shoes and is already bombarding our media with all the great things he wants to take credit for, like City Center. I don't for one minute believe he had anything to do with that, but all the big players are allowing him to run these ads, not that they would expect anything in return! (Sarcasm) The thing is, these crooks have been in the big money pockets for so long they don't know any other way, and that is the problem we are dealing with. I wish I was smart enough to give a solution for stopping this treaty, but I'm not. I do know, we must get off our butts and get organized to make as much impact as possible. Flipping the house will be a good start and I believe if we work hard enough to get the first bunch out, we will have the attention of the others that will be coming up later, and we'll start to see a change at that time. I'm 67 years old and have been observing this corruption for many years and, like many others, have been "too busy" to do anything about it. I'm very uneducated about how things work, but I'm trainable, and I'm learning. I know we're of the right mind set now, but ask yourself, "Am I doing all I can?" I just sent money to Hoffman in New York to help him get elected. I have NEVER donated to ANYONE to run for office before! I did because I know we must get conservatives in to stop this spending. We have a lot of good people in this country and we need to get some of them in DC to represent us. Keep plugging and it will happen.

Good idea. Just go and hand deliver a letter or letters to the offices of these Congress people. It may turn into a whole day affair, but while you're there, turn the rest of the day into sight-seeing.

Donna, I said your very words over and over. No permits, no forewarning to these crooks in Dc who pretend to be for the people. All of us, from everywhere, just go, drive, fly, take a train, hitch-hike, but just go, and cripple the streets. If we did that, THEN they could HEAR US

Work tirelessly to replace the scum with honest, conservative patriots who love America and everthing it stands for. Replace them at every level .... focus locally. 2010 will be here sooner then you think!

Try looking at the "How to take back the GOP" group. They have some pretty good ideas on how to infiltrate with conservatives from the bottom up. The argument is that the GOP is or should be closely aligned with our views and they allready have the organization.
Trying to start a third party has lost us everytime. Too many different ideas going every which away.

Other than keep, keep calling and writing. I truly think they are starting to pay attention.

So, Here is what I hear fro us all . . .

- We're writing, and talking, and Flipping
- We're calling, and standing up
- We're Marching, and R.O.C. -ing

But will that matter? Our power is in the VOTE. Not your vote, Not my vote, but Someone elses. What can we do to organize and come together to CHANGE other votes? To inform, to educate, to reach other people, NOT within our CIRCLE of FRIENDS.

We need the action plan behind the idea. There are 20,000 committed to "Flip This House". But, 20,000 is not nearly enough. It is not enough to have ones or twos, each you and I to commit to flip the house. We need to multiply !!

How can we use our efforts to flip 2-4 seats in EACH STATE. Let's spread to all the other state groups. Imagine if each State flipped just 2 seats. That would be a change of 100 representatives and Senators. There are presently 49 legislators on the "AT RISK" list. These are people who already are behind or lead by only a few points.

SO, How can we insure that we flip thier seats ?!! We need to multiply the numbers.

HI:

SO, The numbers: If we all concentrate on the same goal we can do the best damage. If we had 500 people commit to work in each State, to find and "Sign on" just 5 people as "Members" to the plan, then find 5 VOTES to change. Here's how it breaks out:

Month 1: 500 X 5 = 2,500 members X 5 VOTES = 12,500 votes
Month 2: 2,500 x 5 = 12,500 members x 5 VOTES = 62,500 votes
Month 3: 12,500 x 5 = 62,500 members x 5 VOTES = 312,500 votes. enough.
Month 4: 321,500 x 5 = 1,560,000 members x 5 VOTES = 7,800,000 votes. More than enough.

How do we change votes.
1. Calling PEOPLE, not legislators. Get 10 numbers from the phone book from the teaparty groups in each State. Call them.
2. Flyers on windshields ( is this legal?).

3. stuffing mailboxes......

THis is where we need the best ideas from all of us.... .. your thoughts?

We cannot do it in so many little groups. There are 20 little groups on each of the 6 sites, and only like 173 people in each group. Someone Call Darla, and greg, and dan, and whomeover can help us all communicate TOGETHER. Think about it - - Even the minutemen had a way to communicate to EVERYONE. In all our technology, THEY were still more effective, because they contaced everyone. . . .
