My husband and I traveled into DC for the protest rally "house call" on Thursday November 5th as did 50,000 to 100,000 other patriots. I was insulted to hear that Rep. Diane Watson of CA 33rd (Los Angeles) stated on C-span that she did not understand why these protestors were so angry.and that many were bused in and had been paid to be there. I sent a fax to her office stating she should apologize for that lie. (ACORN pays thugs to go places and disrupt, so I guess she has used their services in her comparison ) We were there out of concern for the overspending of Congress and the power grab for total control of our healthcare . This massive bill is full of doublespeak to disguise massive spending which will cost far more than what is estimated at a time when fewer people have jobs and can't afford higher taxes. Speaker Pelosi needs to lose her job for this "malpractice". (Doing the wrong thing is MALPRACTICE. This bill is definitely the wrong thing!)
Single payer healthcare does not work well in Britain. Elective surgeries require long waits. Dialysis machines are inadequate in supply and if you are older, you may not receive that treatment. We lived in England for several years and saw their NHS at work. Single payer system will not work here. Age discrimination is illegal here isn't it? Was Teddy Kennedy denied care at 77? Under this bill seniors will be forced to have end of life counseling and have rationed care due to $500 billion funding cuts in Medicare to pay for it just as baby boomers retire and enroll in Medicare. Under this bill, illegal aliens will get care and taxpayers will get the bill as the many loopholes in this bill do not require verification of citizenship.
We have called, faxed,emailed, snail mailed, marched, emergency house called, and voted our opposition in Virginia as well as ew Jersey. Must we have a revolution to end this tyranny?

Yes, we must, because they do not care what we think and what we know. They are determined that they know better than us, and they are going to drag us kicking and screaming into the future that they "know" is best, without any consideration for what the truth of the matter is. They have a dream of a world that is not reality, and they will ruin us all in their quest to secure it and "save us" from the "horror" we live in now.

First of all, it is agaist the Constitutional Laws that govern the Federal and State Governments in this Republic to place a Citizen into prison for a debt, for taxes included, unless those debts were fraudulent in intent. One cannot be placed in prison for not having insurance. That is a freedom of choice. Unlike a Driver's licence which may include having auto insurance to have, because driving is a privilege, not a right and therefore not a Freedom of choice.
This is one of the numerous reasons for our break with Briton, Debtor's Prison. We made that illegal.
The down side of not having Health Insurance are two fold, and twice punished. For those not having it, they only have access to Emergency Rooms at Hospitals. These unpaid bills stay on collections, with few exception, untill these people actually get a job and try to buy something on credit. The twice punished is those with insurance have to pay more for the immediate loss the hospitals incurr as a result of these people not paying, and because of Illegal Aliens, the vast amount of Hospitals that have closed and are closing in rural areas!
The Federal Government ordered the Hospitals to take care of those people without insurance, even if they had a choice.
Therein lies the problem, doesn't it? It seems that the solution is to deport the forteen to twenty million Illegals and remove the greatest burden our Hospitals have ever faced. The greatest burdens our States have ever faced, with welfare, free housing , food, education, et al. All the while honest Immegrants come to our Nation and actually sign papers swearing to not accept any social services, and when they start a business, such a Lawn Care, they will pay all the appropriate taxes, and insurances required by the Nation and the State they are in. Then they have to compete with the Illegals who don't pay any insurance nor any taxes, and suck our Social Services dry!

Exactly correct. I worked in a hospital that was forced under current Federal law to provide care to numerous illegals. With a $40 million loss, the hospital admin ordered a salary freeze and a hiring freeze. Employees worked with not even a dime pay increases, and positions were eliminated and vacant ones not filled. This adversely effected patient care and employee health as all were overworked. 10 years prior to this, my husband suddenly became critically ill. Though he recovered, we were saddled with heavy medical bills because we were insured. At the same time, the child of illegal immigrants had the same time of open heart surgery but Medicaid paid their bills of $250,000. Nothing like paying taxes on the illegals health care at the same time we paid off our hospital charges (20 % not covered by insurance) and raised our children whom had to do without a lot. Current Federal law makes it illegal to turn away illegals from an Emergency Room or if active labor. Deportation of 20 million illegals would ease the high cost of healthcare and lessen waits for treatment in the decreasing number of Hospital Emergency Rooms still open in this country. Many were closed due to losses from treating so many illegals. The illegal immigrants weren't thrown in jail. Why does Congress think it is ok to jail and fine citizens if they don't sign up for health insurance when they won't jail illegals who invade our country and burden our hospitals, schools, food banks, housing and take jobs that should be for American citizens? Congress neither enforces immigration law nor addresses tort reform and medical malpractice insurance. Pelosi's bill WILL allow illegals to continue getting care at our expense and just encourage more illegals to come.
