This discussion is dedicated to the sharing of information concerning removing Senator Patty Murray. There has been over the years numerous gaffs, distortions, and down right dangerous things that Senator Murray has pushed on the citizens of our state. In order to have a firm battle plan on removing this outdated, tired, and political insider from office lets work together to gather as many items as we can, including slogans.

As I am asking for these let me be the first to post what might be considered the first hit piece.

When Patty Murray first ran for the Senate she billed herself in 1992 as "just a mom in tennis shoes." This is anything but the truth now after serving for almost twenty years in the US Senate. Patty Murray, savy politiacl insider, big spender with even bigger eyes on everones wallet can be been seen as the ever prospecting gladhander.

Senator Murray even accepted political donations from disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff, and was second on the list among Democrats on receiving money from tribes assoiciated with Mr Abramoff. Senator Murray gave non of the money she received back or to charities, instead all that money was added to her campaign chest.

When Capital One asks what it is in your wallet, Senator Murray, who sits on the Appropriations Committee, pays kean attention to the answer.

Very good idea James, I agree, she is one of the many that has just got to go. Being new to the state I do not have alot of ammo against her, but I will look for some. The other question is does anybody know much about her opponent, Sean Salizar? I have met him a few times and he seems ok, but I do not have a strong indication as to where he falls politicaly. Would you be interested in meeting him in a few months, with a group of coarse. I met him in our travels to recruit for our other site, and he said he would love to come talk to our groups. It would be a chance to get to know him, and decide if he is someone you would like to support.

Great idea, set it up for a Saturday afternoon in August. Somewhere in Olympia would be a central location where several of us could attend might be the best thing, maybe even your house in Shelton.

Thanks Richard, I agree, we need a conservative in this senate seat. So we need to check out the candidates as much as we can, so when we choose one we choose the best one. There is another contender and his name is Wayne J Glover. I do not know much about him either but he claim to be a conservative. I believe we need to pick one soon though, This top two crap does not alow for us to be devided, even in the primaries.

James: I write Patty often and usually get no repsonse back....it's a sin that all Washingtonian's have two "Socialist Senators"....we conservatives are in fact un-represented.

This letter was sent to Patty in June of last year.........no response to date:

Patty:

More Funding for Washington State....ya sure. Just take the peoples money and call it funding!

Patty higher taxes will and does mean that Americans are saying good-bye to higher taxes.

In my reading a study recently conducted for the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), from 1998 to 2007, noted that more than 1,100 people per day -- many of them high-income earners -- moved from the nine highest-income-tax states primarily to the nine no-income-tax states.

For example, after New Jersey implemented its "half-millionaire" tax hike in 2005, the state lost 4,000 half-millionaires.

We heard from billionaire Tom Golisano recently in The New York Post, about his move from the Empire State to the Sunshine State will save him more than $5 million annually in state taxes.

High taxes are not only the antagonist to population retention but are also the toxin that kills economic growth.

I read where the University of Colorado's Barry W. Poulson examined reasons for states' prosperity or lack thereof from 1964 to 2004; he found "a significant negative impact of higher marginal tax rates on state economic growth."

The ALEC study confirmed this, finding that from 1998 to 2007, states with no income tax created 89 percent more jobs and boasted 32 percent faster personal income growth than high-tax states.

Still, you, Maria, and Christine cry for tax hikes on the rich OR hardworking, to alleviate state budget deficits....no comments or plans EVER, about cutting the size of our government? Why?

It turns out that by talking with their feet, the "rich" are saying, "No thanks."....to which I, small businessman here in Federal Way, say the same thing.

I like many are down and desperately trying to hold onto our 29 year old family business, knowing that all you will do is stand over me with your foot on my throat and your hand in my pocket to take what you feel is your's to take.

How is it that raising taxes on the backs of those that provide consistant jobs and taxes will be kicked when they simply need real help and hope to weather this financial disaster?...and leaders who can and will do something about the out of control size of our government?

I agree Patty and Maria too, need to go. They are like most of DC politicians, out to enhance their own pockets at the expense of their constituents. They are totally out of touch with reality and their state's needs. I see Dave Reichart going the wrong direction too with his defection on Cap & Trade vote.

I wrote this morning a note to the reporter who did the story on the FBI investigating Senator Murray and Rep Dicks asking for any follow up information that he might have. I will let you all know what happens.

I have been talking to the State Republican Party about getting some interesting caracatures out on t-shirts suggesting "change of tennis shoes from old worn out Patty Murray".

I also understand that Sean needs a lot of help to develope more traction with people. Anyone have any ideas on this subject?

I agree with you on Dave Reichart. Whats with this guy? I believe he was the only Republican voting for Cap And Trade. . I certainly don't trust him.....

Patty replies to my communication with her with a form letter saying , in essence, why I can take my opinion and shove it.
