CAIR Tries To Plant Muslim Interns On Key Hill Staffs

The Muslim activist organization CAIR was attempting to plant Muslim interns in the offices of congressmen who are on committees affecting US national security, a CAIR memo dated 13 January 2007 reveals.

The CAIR memo says, in part:

“We will focus on influencing congressmen responsible for policy that directly impacts the American Muslim community. (For example, the judiciary, intelligence, and homeland security committees.) We will develop national initiatives such as a lobby day and placing Muslim interns in Congressional offices.”


The memo, revealed this morning in a press conference held by Reps. Sue Myrick (R-N.C.), John Shadegg, Paul Broun (R-Ga.) and Trent Franks (R-Ariz.) can be read in full here (pdf).

The members joined in demanding that the Justice Department and the IRS investigate CAIR (the IRS because CAIR is a Section 501 (c ) (3) tax-exempt organization which is prohibited from lobbying.) They also asked the Congressional Sergeant of Arms to investigate and report whether any of the CAIR interns were actually planted in the House.

CAIR’s activist agenda -- known for years -- has been extensively reported by HUMAN EVENTS and our columnist Robert Spencer. The organization’s claim that it is a “civil rights organization” has been disproven so many times as to make it risible.

As Spencer reported in August 2007, “Several CAIR officials, including its Community Affairs Director, Bassem Khafagi; a Board member of CAIR’s Texas chapter, Ghassan Elashi; CAIR’s communications specialist and civil rights coordinator, Randall Todd Ismail Royer; and fundraiser Rabih Haddad have been convicted of various terrorism-related offenses.”

The Justice Department labeled CAIR an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation case. In November 2008, HLF and five of its leaders were convicted by a Dallas federal jury on charges of providing material support (more than $12 million) to Hamas, a designated foreign terrorist organization.

In FBI sworn testimony in that trial, according to an October 7, 2008 report in the Dallas Morning News “crime blog,” Special Agent Lara Burns was going over transcripts from “the Philadelphia meeting,” a 1993 meeting between HLF officials and Hamas sympathizers that the government argued was meant to brainstorm ways to downplay the Holy Land Foundation’s extremist ties.

According to that report, the testimony turned to one of the HLF defendants, Shukri Abu Baker. According to the Dallas Morning News blog report:

[Baker] is quoted on the wiretap transcript talking about how it would be beneficial to have more traditional, secular American organizations to help spread the Islamist message.

He and others envisioned an “alternative” organization “which can benefit from a new atmosphere, one whose Islamic hue is not very conspicuous,” he said according to the transcript.

Prosecutor Barry Jonas asked Burns whether any groups formed after the Philadelphia gathering fit this mold.

“CAIR,” she answered.

Why weren’t the CAIR interns aimed at the Agriculture or Small Business committees? That’s only one of the many unanswered questions raised today.

Globalist cover-up hiding Obama's past?

Barack Obama has spent (or had spent for him) between $1.8 million and $3.2 million in legal fees to keep his personal records secret. These include his birth certificate, his college records and all else that could provide more insight into his past.

But why? Who spends that kind of money to keep their records hidden unless they have something to hide? And if someone (especially a political figure, not to mention a sitting president) is willing to go to such lengths, it is reasonable to believe he has something to hide. It is reasonable to believe that whatever it is they are hiding would be damning if revealed. What could it be that Obama is so fearful of having revealed?

Consider the kind of power it takes to command such silence. Let's face it – there is nothing not known that cannot be made known – Jimmy Hoffa's resting place notwithstanding.

Let's first start with what it takes to keep the cacophony of silence and complicit cover-up silent and covered up.

Joan Swirsky writes that Douglas Hagmann, in an interview with Dr. Laurie Roth, revealed, "The reason for the media blackout about [Obama's] birth-certificate issue was nothing less than organized Mafia-like dire threats to members of the media, issued not only from the heads of major TV and radio stations, but also from Federal Communication Commission officials. According to Hagmann and [his investigative partner] Judi McCleod, who conducted a nine-month investigation and documented their findings scrupulously," threats were made to fire major talk-show hosts if they mentioned Obama's birth certificate, threats were made by FCC officials to yank broadcasting licenses, and memos were circulated by corporate TV headquarters to all on-air employees advising them not to mention the birth-certificate issue, his lawyer's license or his college records. According to Swirsky, during the interview Hagmann and McCleod alluded to e-mails and other evidence in their possession – copies of which, they said, were secreted in several locations.

But the question that begs answering is: Why go to such lengths to keep documents away from public scrutiny? The birth-certificate issue is only a critical problem if, as many believe, it contradicts Obama's citizenship story. And why prevent access to college records or restrict inquiry concerning his law license? It was Michelle who mysteriously had her license suspended in 1993.

An even more pressing question is: How does a person like Obama – a nobody from nowhere – come to command such power and money so as to pull this off? Think about what it takes for a presidential candidate, and now sitting president, to have such power.

The answer can only be that Obama is the front man for something far more sinister. One person, without the strength and backing of a cabal capable of toppling governments and affecting worldwide currencies, etc., could not even consider such an undertaking, much less pull it off.


Ergo, the logical conclusion must then be that behind Obama there exists a group or organization so powerful and so sinister that they are able not just to influence global policy, but to control it. I repeat for the record, Obama in and of himself cannot, by any stretch of the imagination, singularly demand that every major media outlet ignore investigating that which could potentially make Woodward and Bernstein's investigation into President Nixon pale in comparison.

Global domination is obviously their goal, but what in Obama's background threatens to derail them if it were exposed? Rumors and suspicions abound pursuant to his citizenship, but if someone has enough power to silence a worldwide press and media, they would certainly have the ability to forge or recreate birth documents.

Also, Obama didn't go to school in a vacuum. If there were something in his college records or if he had committed a crime or whatever, other students would know it and those persons would have by now leaked same to a credible source or outlet.

But there is one thing that wouldn't be as accessible to public scrutiny and that is his medical records. If in his background there is evidence of emotional breakdown, susceptibility to breakdown, emotional instability or something similar and it became known, it is the one thing that could derail the objectives of the power behind him.
I'm not an investigative journalist. I write opinion, and it is my opinion that Obama is but the tip of something much larger, and if same were to become known it would reverberate worldwide. If he isn't, then he should make the requested records available immediately. No other president or leader – not Castro, not Chavez, not Clinton, not Khrushchev – has demanded and received the secrecy he has. No one was capable of such a feat until now.

It is time, no matter the risk or the cost, for investigators and reporters to do their jobs. The American public has the right to know the truth about Obama.

Nearly $1 million in Homeland Security funding typically earmarked for fire departments has been awarded to ACORN.

The grant to ACORN's Louisiana office became public on Oct. 2, less than three weeks after the House and Senate voted to cut off ACORN funding.

It was one of only three such grants issued to the state and made up almost 80 percent of the firefighting money earmarked for Louisiana, prompting one of the U.S. senators from the state to demand that the funds be taken back.

"I request that you rescind this grant based on a history of abuse of federal dollars by ACORN and their clear lack of expertise in this area," said Sen. David Vitter, Louisiana Republican.

"I have no problem with not getting a grant, I've lost grants before," said Chief Flynn, one of the fire officials who complained to Mr. Vitter in a letter. "My issue is ACORN in New Orleans. Their mission statement says nothing about fire safety or fire prevention. It bothered me that ACORN got $1 million and there are so many smaller and bigger departments that have a need for that money."

ACORN received $997,402, slightly less than the maximum allowable grant of $1 million. A total of $35 million was available for the grants project to fire districts across the country this year.

"Several Louisiana fire departments have voiced their serious concerns to me over the award of these funds to ACORN," Mr. Vitter said in the letter. "We can all understand that there are never enough funds to allocate for all the deserving requests of fire departments, and each year there are many more requests than funds available," he wrote. "But when so many fire departments throughout the nation are struggling for funding for important and lifesaving projects, how is it that a non-fire department with no clear expertise in fire safety and prevention is given such a large award for fire safety?"

Did everyone see the Virginia Attorney General debates? It was funnier than Saturday Night Live. Cuccinelli was great. It's on U-tube.

Thank you Laura for information on the video “The Obama Deception” a truly
frightening view of what “corruption” looks like on a such a huge scale. The
scary part is that we do not seem to have the ability to “stop” any of this!
However, Obama, is so ignorant that he does not know that GOD is in control and
he will spend eternity in HELL.......unless he Repents!

Arkansas Cocaine smuggling operation that was rampant through out the state
when he was governor) The Clinton Chronicles 3.8 involved “the cover-up”
of 2 boys found dead on the railroad tracks because they saw something they
should not have seen (suspicion that they saw a drop-off of drugs, by plane)?

Seems the truth was not revealed that the 2 had been killed! Also a lot of
suspicious deaths of men who, apparently, knew too much seems to be missing, too.

yesterday and there is now the “The New Clinton Chronicles” for sale as a
DVD on Amazon. Also noticed the web-site has been “cleaned-up” and items
deleted that I remember seeing earlier. Guess, this is what the elite can do
to re-write history if it makes them look bad!

Believe, too, in a “shadow” government that has existed for yrs: and here
we thought all along that our votes were important and would make a difference!
Sad, but too much information available not to take it seriously!

See if you can see the movie 'The Obama Deception' on google and watch it. It's about 2 hours and it explains the Trilaterial Commission and all things from your post.
I watched it in March/April and I was sceptical. Actually, I watched it thinking that it was like reading the National Inquirer--you know-junk reading.
Now, I believe just about any 'conspiracy theory' as fact. Nobody would make all this stuff up. Bombing the moon yesterday and O getting a Nobel peace prize on the same day. A shadow government, you betcha, I believe.
