Sorry to say that I am not in the habit of checking this website since I joined the Ventura Patriot Tea Party group. I have made a number of replies to Joan and my most recent was the rally that will take place this afternoon at 5:00PM at the government center. Carla Bonney did not want to participate at first because this was an "astroturf" Obama group coming in from Oxnard. However, she was inspired by other members who really wanted to counter this group, so we were called to action on Monday. So unless we are talking about two different events, Joan, you have not missed it, it will be held this afternoon. That is the reason I provided my personal email address for you to make any additional inquiries. We really do not know what to expect, but if any of you can show up and need details, you can reach me at kreationer@yahoo.com

I would suggest that the main CA page be visited regularly. There are lots of information and action items that get posted there. Ventura needs to grow, so if you know anyone, by all means invite them.

NOW THAT I HAVE JOINED I WOULD LIKE TO BE INFORMED AND PROVIDE INFO AS WELL.
THERE WAS A PRO-OBAMA PROTEST TODAY AT THE GOVT BLDG, I JUST GOT THE INFO YESTEDAY AND ONLY READ IT TONITE SO OF COURSE I MISSED IT.
CARLA BONNEY SENT ME THE MSE AND I THOT IT WAS FROM THIS GROUP BUT NOT.
I CHECKED MAIN RESISTNET NOTHING,
I CHECKED VENTURA GROUP NOTHING
THIS IS JUST WHAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR. TO BE ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE OBAMA TRAIN, THEY PLAN ON 1000 STOPS BY END OF RECESS.
ARE YOU 13 MEMEBERS OF THIS GROUP ACTIVE?
I DON'T SEE ANY POSTING POSTED OR REPLIED TO.
I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED I MISSED THIS PROTEST.

Dear Patriots,
I want all of you to take personal responsibility for growing this movement. My heart is with you. Every time I call or write, I also write my former legislators in CA. This socialism can be stopped. Cracks in the ObamaMania hysteria are forming and getting bigger. Notice that with each drop in Obama's poll numbers, his minions start backing away. We have to grow. We are carring the water for a lot of people who don't know what is a constitution? It's just the way it is. We can stop this. Keep it up. Make signs. Have you had the bird flipped at you recently? Why not? Are you out there? I was out there today, not for me but for you and I did get the bird and I smiled! It's fun! How many have you invited to the July 4th tea party? Why not? Make this a different year. Do your children know why we place our hand over our hearts during the National Anthem. I beseech you all to act with vigor. We will take our country back!

It is imperative that "Cap and Trade" get stopped dead. Between cap and socialized medicine, these are dangerous to our Country. Do everything you can to get folks to call and write. Both would be better, but they want to force these through by Memorial Day.

Honorable Speaker Nancy Pelosi,
I urgently request that you support "The Audit The Fed Legislation"
Thankfully, H.R. 1207, the "Federal Reserve Transparency Act," has been introduced in the House of Representatives -- and as an AMERICAN I DEMAND that the Speaker of the House schedule a vote on it!

As Rep. Ron Paul stated on the floor of the U.S. House when introducing this bill, "Throughout its nearly 100-year history, the Federal Reserve has presided over the near-complete destruction of the United States dollar. Since 1913 the dollar has lost over 95% of its purchasing power, aided and abetted by the Federal Reserve's loose monetary policy. How long will we as a Congress stand idly by while hard-working Americans see their savings eaten away by inflation? Only big-spending politicians and politically favored bankers benefit from inflation."

Since its inception, the Federal Reserve has always operated in the shadows, without sufficient scrutiny or oversight of its operations. While the conventional excuse is that this is intended to reduce the Fed's susceptibility to political pressures, the reality is that the Fed acts as a foil for the government. Whenever you question the Fed about the strength of the dollar, they will refer you to the Treasury, and vice versa. The Federal Reserve has, on the one hand, many of the privileges of government agencies, while retaining benefits of private organizations, such as being insulated from Freedom of Information Act requests. This practice must end now!
