Psalm 27:1
The Lord is my light and my salvation-
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life-
of whom shall I be afraid
80% of all we worry about never comes true, that is a fact.
The other 20% is never as bad as we imagine. That is not
to say that we all don't face difficulties in our lives but what
real energy should we give to being afraid? It is a natural
reaction to jump into a fight or flight mode and there are
some situations that you have to do just that. But most of our
worries are out of our control and we need a place to put them.
That is God's job, once you release your fears and worries to
the Lord there is an instant lift of pressure as you have given
the Lord the permission to handle it for you and you family and
work all things to the good of those who believe. This practice
has changed my life, it takes some time to change your old
habit of fear and worry but with God's help you can.
Then you can move forward and take action with confidence.
May God bless you richly.
