Ron,
My thoughts:
Gathering people to participate in some way is the first order of agenda, I'd think.
I agree with Dennis about needing a system with getting the same information , etc.
First, we all need to be saying the exact same thing. Would you as the State Coordinator compose a fairly short and simple form invitation that we can copy and paste into emails?
The invitation should list every county in the district and we can all send this letter to everyone on our email lists. It should also include a request, in case our contacts live in another district or even out of state, that if they know anyone at all in those particular counties in district 4 to please forward it to them.
It should also contain a list of options for service that people, men, women and children, can choose from and put a check mark by.
They could print it off and privately snail mail it to Dennis along with their phone numbers or email a copy to him so that he can start a database of names??
We would do well to include an option for county coordinators who can then work with Dennis as the District coordinator.
We need an approved letter of invitation to join this particular site.
We need an approved advertisement to join the 4th district patriots that we could either put in the newspaper or print off and hang on bulletin boards or do hand-outs.
Should we decide to hold a public meeting, we need a list of notable persons for Dennis to contact with an invitation, who are willing to come to our district, or who live in our district, to speak to a group of people. Do you know of anyone?

Funding?? Fundraisers?? Approved T-shirt logo??

Dennis and Linda. I apologize for not getting back to you earlier. I have been very busy helping to set up the other 31 districts in Texas. I love the way you guys want to get to other people, and get them involved. I will do all I can to assist you.

The invitation letter is a great idea, and we can share it with the other districts. However, I don't know how soon I can do it. If possible, could you guys come up with a draft using your ideas? Then we can all look at it, see if we agree, and talk about how to use it. I also like the idea of face-to-face meetings. I promise you I will get with you on this in the next few days.

Hi Guys (meaning guys and dolls both),

I have not forgotten about you. I need to do some more thinking about this. I want all of us to come up with some good ideas so that we can share them with the other districts. I'm sure that they all have problems similar to ours. I'll get back to you tomorrow night. I have some thoughts to share with you, but I have to go to work in the daytime tomorrow.
