Issue with social network messaging center

Our engineers are working to resolve some recent issues that cropped up in the messaging center within your social network. Due to performance issues this feature may throw errors intermittently for the next few hours. We will update here with further information at 9 p.m., Pacific Time.

I signed up for the 9/12 March, and said I wanted to attend the ResistNet Meet and Greet event and the Freedomworks Dinner that follows on 9/11, but there was no reply and no information on where these events take place. I also signed up to be a volunteer on Saturday 9/12. Where can I get additional information about all of this??

I posted a question yesterday but do not see it listed here so will repeat.

Situation: I receive an email regarding a comment made in a particular group I am following.

The email says "To view this comment click on this link"

I click on the link and am taken to the home page of that site. There is no indication at all regarding the comment I am looking for. I search all over and cannot find any reference to it.

Question:How do I open the particular comment referred to in the email without going through a complicated series of pages or sites?
