What is the "No Tolerance" policy?

Every ResistNet member is required to consent to a "No Tolerance" policy which states:
I affirm that ResistNet is for principled, patriotic resistance to Barack Obama's ideology and agenda and is not a forum for personal attacks, lewd or profane language, or militancy against Barack Obama or others. As such, I accept ResistNet's strict No Tolerance policy and will not make inappropriate postings. I understand that such postings will be removed and members responsible will be banned without further notice. I also will report such postings to the site administrator.

I want to reiterate this:
I affirm that ResistNet is for principled, patriotic resistance to Barack Obama's ideology and agenda and is not a forum for personal attacks,

Sir, the person's who's discussion was deleted said they had no problem and understood. If you wish to repost the discussion please feel free. We will monitor it for abuse. When it becomes abusive it will be deleted. Terri did what needed to be done. I do not approve of complaints on people in a public forum either. If you ever want to make a complaint on my staff please do so in a private email setting. That is respectful.

We delete abusive comments when they are no longer respectful.

Please post it yourself and make sure that abusive posts are deleted immed.

Thanks

Terri, you're missing the point. Some discussions, like those about founding fathers and their beliefs, will by nature be argumentative, because people have strong opinions about that. Which in practice means, that those subjects COULDN'T be discussed, because they most likely get deleted.

And to delete them just because people have strong opinions, is the same kind of political correctness, like banning religious or conservative T-shirts in schools, because they may offend some liberals.

And I certainly don't remember anyone using faul language there. The practice of deleting whole discussions because one person misbehaves, doesn't make much sense either. It smells of censorship, since it doesn't leave any evidence for other people to see whether the mod was justified to delete the discussion.

Most other forums don't delete discussions, they either MODERATE THEM, or close them, but DON'T delete them. Deleting whole discussions smells of, and encourages censorship, because it leaves no evidence, so the mod can simply delete discussions because he personally doesn't like the subject or the person posting there. That turns mods into "kings" with no accountability.

And why not warn the person who violated the rules, instead of punishing everybody by deleting the whole discussion?

Terri,
Thanks for keeping a close eye on what was happening. It is ashamed that some commentators out there do not know how to conduct themselves in a public forum. Many of our children are learning from this site and have no business reading comments from adults regarding abusive language towards others. A difference of opinion is always welcomed but abuse is not.

Thanks again for all that you are doing Terri!

Yes I deleted the discussion. The discussion had gotten very argumentative and did have enough abusive language that it had been reported.
A note to people that reply to threads, when you reply to a specific comment it copies that comment into your comment, this is what happened on this particular discussion. So many had kept replying that it was one long reply of replies. When this happens it is not so easy to delete just the comments that are against our policy of personal attacks and lewd language. You, Jaro, are more than welcome to discuss the founding fathers and their beliefs. That is not why this discussion was deleted.

I have a complaint against Terri M. Admin Assistant. She deleted a Christian nation thread where we disagreed about whether US is a Christian nation, but were not abusive as she claims, since nobody called anyone names.

If we are not allowed to discuss founding fathers and the fact that some were Deists, what exactly are we allowed to discuss? Just chant "I hate Obama, I hate Obama"?

Is discussing the founding fathers and their beliefs, really too contraversial on this site?

Well that can only be someone out there that is using an anonymous program to disguise himself. Since the Upper Room is a Christian Site with devotion to Christian Principles. This was done thru a quick Google Search.

So it is obvious that someone out there is hacking. I will bet that they are the ones that somehow stole Darla information.

Remember that with special software one can make their computer look like that of Darla or someone else. There is a well know website called Anonymizer that will do this. It is a Known Spammer email website. But you will never know this since the person can change things with the TCP/IP header information.

It is obvious that this person is doing this during this Holy Time for Christians and Jews.

When you see such a person please immediately contact the people really in charge of the Website (Report an Issue) as well as Darla. This way this person can be narrowed down.

Yet I do understand that these are Slash and Attack hits to disrupt. These type of people will not stay on for very long. This is the nature of childish Hackers since the PC first came about in 1980 and Bulletin Boards (Now Blogs) first started.
