The DFL in MN is sending out the note below. Obviously they are worried Walz (District 1) will change his mind in the final vote so maybe there's hope.

Please write a letter to the editor targeting our Senators in the letters as that is the next vote.

JCT Confirms Failure to Comply with Democrats’ Mandate Can Lead to 5 Years in Jail

Today, Ranking Member of the House Ways and Means Committee Dave Camp (R-MI) released a letter from the non-partisan Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) confirming that the failure to comply with the individual mandate to buy health insurance contained in the Pelosi health care bill (H.R. 3962, as amended) could land people in jail. The JCT letter makes clear that Americans who do not maintain “acceptable health insurance coverage” and who choose not to pay the bill’s new individual mandate tax (generally 2.5% of income), are subject to numerous civil and criminal penalties, including criminal fines of up to $250,000 and imprisonment of up to five years.

In response to the JCT letter, Camp said: “This is the ultimate example of the Democrats’ command-and-control style of governing – buy what we tell you or go to jail. It is outrageous and it should be stopped immediately.”

Key excerpts from the JCT letter appear below:

“H.R. 3962 provides that an individual (or a husband and wife in the case of a joint return) who does not, at any time during the taxable year, maintain acceptable health insurance coverage for himself or herself and each of his or her qualifying children is subject to an additional tax.” [page 1]

“Criminal penalties

Prosecution is authorized under the Code for a variety of offenses. Depending on the level of the noncompliance, the following penalties could apply to an individual:

• Section 7203 – misdemeanor willful failure to pay is punishable by a fine of up to $25,000 and/or imprisonment of up to one year.

• Section 7201 – felony willful evasion is punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 and/or imprisonment of up to five years.” [page 3]

When confronted with this same issue during its consideration of a similar individual mandate tax, the Senate Finance Committee worked on a bipartisan basis to include language in its bill that shielded Americans from civil and criminal penalties. The Pelosi bill, however, contains no similar language protecting American citizens from civil and criminal tax penalties that could include a $250,000 fine and five years in jail.

“The Senate Finance Committee had the good sense to eliminate the extreme penalty of incarceration. Speaker Pelosi’s decision to leave in the jail time provision is a threat to every family who cannot afford the $15,000 premium her plan creates. Fortunately, Republicans have an alternative that will lower health insurance costs without raising taxes or cutting Medicare,” said Camp.

According to the Congressional Budget Office the lowest cost family non-group plan under the Speaker’s bill would cost $15,000 in 2016.

To My Fellow Patriots,
We need to try to get a float or marching unit in every Christmas Parade we possibly can. We are in a position there to appeal to many like-minded people that we need to grow our footprint in this war for our Country's heart and soul. This is an excellent opportunity to attract new members to the cause. I believe in divine guidance and divine intervention. I think God may have created Christmas Parades knowing one day that we mortals would need a stage to grow the mass of people who want to save our wonderful, God fearing Country from those who would do her harm.
Please contact me and let me know what I can do to help you mobilize you and your neighbors to be in your local Christmas Parade. This is a great opportunity to expand our righteous mission to save our great Country.
Our idea for a banner is "Merry Christmas from the Patriotic Resistance. The only thing we Trust in more than our Constitution is Our God and his only son Jesus Christ.

After being treated rudely by an Oberstar staff member I call this morning and asked to speak with his Chief of Staff Bill Richard to complain about it.
He then in turn yelled at me and said they are there to represent the people who voted for Jim not the ones who spew Limbaugh rhetoric! Below is the email I sent in response. These arrogant pukes have to go!

Bill, after our conversation this morning, it’s VERY clear why Oberstar’s staff members are disrespectful to conservative constituents. The elitist arrogance you spewed is freely expressed by others, but not all of Jim’s staff. You yell at me for calling “Jim’s” office and “Spewing Rush Limbaugh” rhetoric? This isn’t much different than the comment by Melissa at the North Branch office when I called asking questions about government subsidies. She asks, “Did you call and ask these questions when George Bush was is office”? What the hell kind of question is that to ask a constituent? I don’t listen to Rush on a daily basis, do I agree with some of his conservative points of view? Absolutely! Was I a big George Bush fan? NO! I’m a fiscal conservative and he spent money like a Democrat, of coarse I didn’t approve of it when he was President either. I call “Jim’s” office, and let be very clear about something Bill, I don’t give a rat’s ass what your view is on anything. Jim is my Representative not you. I know you’ve been on government welfare for at least 28yrs, you think this makes you some kind of royalty, fact is you’re a scum bag that couldn’t survive in the private sector so you leach off the taxpayer, this explains why you’re a bitter little man. You can’t understand why a deeply concerned, passionate citizen would get angry when disrespected and giggled at by your staff? Do you think I like to have to call Jim’s office on a daily basis because my constitutional rights are being trampled? I have far better things to do than talk to a Marxist fool like you. You also made a comment that you’re there to serve the constituents that voted for Jim not me! This again justifies my anger with you and your staff. In light of the present financial crisis, it's interesting to read what Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:
