This is from Ken Howard/one of our Oregon Patriots:

I am also involved with AFP Clackamas County and Oregon 912 Project (Lake Oswego). There is a Fiscal Responsibility Conference on Jan. 30 at the Clackamas Monarch Hotel, hosted by Americans For Prosperity Clackamas. I am part of the AFP group making it happen, and am inviting all Oregon Patriots (and many others) to join us. Please see attached brochure for details. Per person cost, including lunch, is $20 online and $25 at the door.
The main purposes of the conference are to:
1. Meet and ask questions of constituents' OR State Senators and Representatives around tables
2. Provide tables for various patriotic/Constitutional OR groups to display their information, etc. so that others can check out these groups
3. Hear guest speakers (see attached brochure)
4. Talk with members of other OR patriotic groups
If Oregon Patriots would like table space to set up info, sell anything, etc. to promote Oregon Patriots at this conference, tables are 3'x6', so half a table (or "regular" space) would be 3'x3' @$25. Please let me know if you want table space. Will find out soon how to pay for table space.
To sign up individuals to attend:
http://www.fightbackoregon.com/ Internal Links (on left side of web page) which opens https://www.campaigncontrolcenter.com/Ticket.php?acct=fightbackoregon&myEvent=1
If you would, please promote this conference within Oregon Patriots.
Thanks,
Ken Howard

Schrader Town Hall - Oregon City
Thursday, January 7th at 6pm
Providence Willamette Falls Community
Health Education Center Auditorium
519 15th Street
To all our good friends in Lake Oswego
- Please, please, please go to the Schrader Town Hall meeting Thursday night in Oregon City. [Last night] in Salem, we rocked his world. We essentially took over the Town Hall. His handlers used a ticket system to choose the people to ask questions. He was there for an hour and a half, and exactly two people said anything positive - probably at least 15 + people speaking out against, asking very good questions. Great audience participation as well. If you guys follow-up with a similar demonstration Thursday night, we will make a difference. As well, when Schrader came in, at least 50 of us (in a room of 250) stood up in silent protest, holding our pocket constitutions in our upraised clenched fists. A number of us kept our constitutions raised the entire evening. It was extremely uplifting. Now, it's your turn. Give'em hell!
Regards,
Larry (of 912ProjectSalem)

Let Trail Blazer Fans Hear From You!
Tomorrow, Monday, at the Rose Garden Arena
December 28th, From 5:45 PM to 7:00 PM
Rally: VOTE NO on Measures 66 & 67
Can you be there?
The basic idea:
Rally outside the Rose Garden on Gameday! Join us as we try to reach 18,000 people in 75 minutes!
Location: In front of Memorial Coliseum and between MAX tracks Multnomah Winning Way or Intersection of NE Multnomah and N Interstate
Instructions: All signs must be related to Measures 66 & 67 and should not have any Trail Blazer emblems on them. The Portland Trail Blazers' have not endorsed this event.
We must stay on the sidewalk and be spaced in a way so as not to impede foot traffic. You can park in a busy parking structure downtown and take the MAX for free across the river to the Rose Garden.
We will be on the sidewalk along N Winning Way in front of the Memorial Coliseum as well as on the sidewalk at the intersection of N Interstate Avenue and NE Multnomah between the yellow line and the red/blue line of the MAX tracks from 5:45 pm and 7 pm.
Hope you can make it!!!
Come straight from work and let people see that the face of the VOTE NO on Measures 66 & 67 is the image of Oregonians instead of big business or unions or some political machine.

Help us Get Out The Vote for Measures 66 & 67 to STOP JOB-KILLING TAXES!
There is a lot at stake in the upcoming tax referendum Special Election in January 2010. The Democratic leadership in Oregon has already signaled that if these tax increases pass, the Democrats would have a mandate for their agenda and candidates in November 2010. TRANSLATION: Expect MORE OF THE SAME in Salem and in Congress! We cannot let this happen.

What can you do to help stop tax increases in Oregon?
Sign up HERE to volunteer with the ORP! (OregonRepublicanParty)

We can't expect the FEW to save the rest of us...it is up to each and every one of us to do our part to help...if we can't do SOMETHING, we deserve exactly what the liberals are throwing at us...and we have no room to complain about it either.
If we can't help defeat a local tax measure, how will we defeat communism?
Claudia Kinman/OR.State Director Comment by Claudia Kinman/OR.State Director on November 12, 2009 at 6:42pm
The Taxpayer Defense Project and Oregon Freedom Works are announcing a new segment of county activist meetings taking place throughout various regions of the state over the next few weeks to discuss Measures 66 and 67.

It is critical to the health of Oregon’s economy that we defeat these two massive job killing taxes. These taxes target small and family businesses, the engine of our economy. They target the middle class, and those who need the most help today, family owned businesses who are already having a hard t ime staying afloat and paying their employees.

The activist meetings are a time for supporters and interested members of the community to organize together, learn more about what Taxpayer Defense Project and Freedomworks are doing in the state and to determine the next steps in their grassroots program and discuss what visions they have for Oregon.

The meetings will be held according to the following schedule:

November 16th, 2009 – Eugene Activists Meeting
Harris Hall, 7:00pm-8:30pm
125 E 8th Street, Eugene OR 97401

Novem ber 17th, 2009 - East Multnomah County Activists Meeting
Portland Adventist Elementary School, 7:00pm-8:30pm
2990 NW 1st Street, Gresham OR 97030

November 19th, 2009 - Marion County Activists Meeting
First United Methodist Church, 7:00pm-8:30pm
00 State Street, Salem OR 97301

November 21st, 2009 Jackson County Activists Meeting
Medford Main Library, 3:00pm-5:00pm
205 South Central Avenue, Medford OR 97051

November, 23rd, 2009 Washington County Activists Meeting
Check back for details!

December 1st, 2009 Astoria/Clatsop County Activists Meeting
Check back for details!

Join us and thousands of other Oregonians in opposition to this huge expansion in government spending and job killing taxes. Please join us at any of the activist meetings listed above to learn more about what you can do to h elp defeat these job-killing taxes.
