Welcome to the Nevada Patriotic Resistance!!, We are ready to grow this state! We need devoted, passionate, people who will devote themselves to growing their districts! As we grow each district we will be working to identify community leaders and members. In order to win the seats in the 2010 congressional election we need boots on the ground working to educate the citizens of our great state. So, let's get busy and show them Nevada CAN!

MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

Ok NV, we need to build our membership in the state and in each congressional district! We know we can do this so let's get busy and build it! Everyone here needs to invite at least 5 people you know. If you are good at Facebook, Twitter, My Space...these are all great places to promote. We have fliers and cards you print and can hand out everywhere you go!

If you want to take back your country, you can’t afford to miss this event.

Join us with two guest speakers; our feature speaker is Nevada Senate-
Minority Whip Barbara K. Cegavske. Sen. Cegavske has unique insight as
to what we have to do to win back our state in the 2010 election.

Up until now we have been focusing on organizing and building our
forces, now is the time to start to put all of our past work into
action. This meeting will kick-off our action program.

If you want to “Flip The House” in 2010 you will want to be at this meeting.

With only 8 short months to the primary and 13 months until the General
elections it is time for us to roll up our sleeves, stop chatting about
the problems and get to work.

All of our grassroots Conservatives have been working hard to take back
our State in 2010. With 29 assembly districts and 12 senate districts,
Clark County is pivotal to our success in the 2010 elections. Senator
Cegavske will present an analysis of the State Assembly and Senate for
the 2010 elections.

Many of the other candidates for State Assembly and State Senate will be
on hand for the presentation. There will be time provided at the end of
this meeting for a meet and greet those who are running in your area.

Who should attend :

All Current and potential Candidates for State Office

All Clark County Precinct District Managers and Precinct Captains .

All Members of the Conservative Grassroots coalitions who want to help
us win in 2010

The time to get involved is now.

To get conservative candidates elected, they must be on the ballot.
To get on the November ballot they must win the Primary.
To win the Primary, our conservative candidates must get the support of
people who reliably vote in the Primary, and the Precinct Captains who
get out the vote of others for the Primary.

The Nevada Conservative Grassroots Coalitions invite you to participate
in this exciting event. This is a chance for you to meet the team. You
will not want to miss this event. Seating is limited so RSVP today !

Note: This is not a meeting open to candidates to speak and will not be
a forum for those running for Federal office.

1. These are the worst pieces of legislation in the last 50 yrs because they take medical care out of the hands of doctors and put it into the hands of Washington bureaucrats.

2. These Bills destroy the finest healthcare system in the world, and one that works for 300 million Americans for the sake of less than 10% of the population.

3. All of the current proposals have been tried on the state level and they all have failed:

a. Guaranteed Insurability and Community Rating NY

b. Public Option MA

c. Universal Access TN

4. There is nothing in any of these Bills that actually improves healthcare for patients

5. There are better, common sense, market driven solutions that would actually work and not cost $1.2 trillion

a. Allow individuals the same tax deductions as employers so they can own their own policies

b. Allow insurance companies to compete across state lines

c. Enact meaningful tort reform to decrease costs by eliminating defensive medicine practices.

d. Allow aggregation to decrease insurance premiums and guarantee coverage for chronic illnesses

e. Vouchers for those who cannot afford insurance

6. This legislation is not about healthcare. It is about idealogues advancing the far left agenda to control 1/6 of the US economy.

7. Healthcare is not the number 1 priority for the American people. 85% are happy with what they have now. They want jobs!

8. These Bills are smoke and mirrors. They collect money for 10 yrs, but only pay benefits for 6 yrs. They seperated out the "doctor fix" which would add $250 billion to the total.

9. These Bills will lead to socialized medicine with rationed care and a halt to medical innovation.

10. There can not be meaningful healthcare reform reform without tort reform. Medical liability issues including defensive medicine accounts for 10% of the healthcare spending. The current House bill disincentivizes states from developing meaningful malpractice reform by taking money away from them

Comment by Doug Jernigan 1 day ago: Sarah Palin will be in Reno on December 9 at COSCO on Harvard Way at 7pm. This may be her only visit to Nevada on her book tour. I found out from a San Francisco radio station, KSFO and the San Jose Mercury News, I am sure the local media will report this visit after she leaves!
