The first order of business is to build up our membership. Please read the New Jersey Patriots Welcome Wagon discussion and use those ideas to help us grow.

Update: Mar 19: Grassfire is promoting newcomers to join state groups. Because New Jersey is a heavily blue state, you can't depend on Grassfire to bring like-minded people here. If you want to bring this group to critical mass, YOU need to get your fingers off the remote control and start helping recruit the more than 300 uninvited Garden Staters on this site. AND YOU need to bring your family, friends, and neighbors to this site. That's how we'll grow. It's up to YOU.

Recruiting

This is your mission, whether you decide to accept it or not. 1) Invite your personal network (your e-mail list) to join the Resistance AND New Jersey Patriots. 2) Invite other members of the Resistance in New Jersey to join this group. See New Jersey Patriots Welcome Wagon for details. Grassfire is spending a considerable amount of money to bring people to this network. That's the hard part. If you leave them isolated and alone, all our efforts will be less fruitful than they could be. 3) The Internal Revenue Code is the means by which the Federal government controls you. To regain the freedoms that we used to have, that power must be rescinded. Join us at the Zapper Resistance. 4) Request to be my Resistance Protege. Richard will coach you on how to use whatever time you can devote to the Resistance in the most effective ways. Less than 30% of Garden Staters are in this group. What are YOU doing to invite them? She was denied medicine for AIDS on Medicaid due to the cost. I haven't looked yet but I wonder how much aid has gone to Africa for medicine and inclusive in my query is what will happen to the coverage after the government takeover.

The town meeting will be at the Grover Middle School auditorium and will run until 8:30pm. The address of Grover Middle School is 10 Southfield Road West Windsor, NJ 08550.

Rush Holt enthusiastically voted for Pelosicare. When I met with his office staff on 11/5, he confirmed that, in Holt's mind, this is a necessary step to single-payer healthcare. If you can, please attend this meeting and let him hear loud and clear that the fight is far from over.
