I just found and joined this site. I, too, attended the congressional candidate panel discussion last Tuesday. If anyone would like to view it: http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/5500477 I walked in not knowing anyone or any candidates. I thought Dave Corsi was the best. I asked a woman next to me what she thought and she liked Corsi best as well. I feel so strongly about him, from this one event, that I'm considering being on his campaign. Halfacre wouldn't be too bad, but I don't think he has the same fire in the belly. Sipprelle looks and feels like a typical Jersey RINO and is probably the one who will garner the nomination, but only if we don't give it every effort to back the right guy.

The NJTeaParty Group is working on getting enough people together for a chartered bus from the Clinton, NJ area to Washington.

The bus would leave at 5:40AM from Clinton and leave Washington at 2PM.

Cost will be about $45.

Contact me ASAP if you are interested in a seat.

I will notify you if –

1. We can make arrangements for the bus
2. You have been included as a passenger (first come, first serve)

Thanks for posting that George. It is good to see someone....anyone seriously challenging Holt. It does look like there are some issues with Sipprelle, but even he would be better than Holt. I checked out Dave Corsi's website. I like what he has to say. When I met Alan Bateman he liked Corsi the best out of the three. I am looking forward to seeing all three of them together on Tuesday in Hightstown.

A follow up to my previous comment:

It would be good to come prepared with meaty questions and to observe some common sense rules:

1) be courteous to all
2) don't filibuster
3) don't attack without good reason. Good reason doesn't include already supporting one of the candidates.
4) C4L may already have some format for the meeting... its their meeting so we should observe their rules.

Please take notes. We can consolidate the notes after the meeting and post the results here.

Mercer/Monmouth County Campaign for Liberty meeting Tuesday, March 16, 7-8:30pm, Castle Consulting, 109 Mercer Street, Hightstown. Congressional candidates Mike Halfacre, David Corsi, and Scott Sipprelle will be there. Good chance to ask these guys questions in a small venue.

Somerset County to host Senator Frank Lautenberg’s mobile constituent services staff

SOMERVILLE - Somerset County will host members of Sen. Frank R. Lautenberg’s constituent services staff Thursday, February 25, from 10 a.m. to noon in the lobby of the county administration building at 20 Grove Street.

Members of Sen. Lautenberg’s staff will be on hand to help local residents with a wide variety of federal issues and concerns. The Senator’s staff will be traveling across the state to help constituents with their concerns over the next several weeks and months.

The Somerset County mobile office will be staffed by experienced constituent services representatives from Sen. Lautenberg’s office who can assist residents with questions or concerns with federal issues and agencies such as Social Security, the Internal Revenue Service, Immigration, Veterans Affairs and Medicare.

Also, informational brochures will be available on a wide variety of topics, including identity theft, consumer information, purchasing life insurance, Social Security, fighting fraud and food safety.
