Americans for Legal Immigration(ALIPAC) are calling for Tea Parties Against Amnesty across the country on November 14.There is a registered event taking place in Grand Island on that date. It will take place at the Federal Building, 203 w. 2nd St. That's on the corner of 2nd(Hwy 30) and Locust St. in downtown GI. The timeframe is 10am to 2pm. Come for the full time or just an hour. Right now, we're looking at having signs and flags.
Obama wants amnesty. Reid and Pelosi want amnesty. Just like some many things that they trying to force down our throats these days, what they want is not what we want. Sen. Chuck Schumer(D-NY) is sitting back on his haunches waiting for the right time to spring his amnesty bill on the Senate. On the House side, Rep. Luis Gutierrez(D-IL) will file his bill this month and he figures if healthcare and cap and trade get through, his "scamnesty" bill can be shoved through the same way. These bills have some new bells and whistles but it's McCain-Kennedy all over again. The outrage of Americans killed that bill, now we have a new battle.
