We will Resist - in a peaceful, patriotic way - efforts to move our nation away from our heritage of individual freedom and liberty. We will provide a platform for developing the structure of an intellectual Resistance while providing a place for grassroots conservative citizens to network and develop strategies and action plans.

We will be steadfast. We will not be chided into silence by personal attacks on conservatives, our leaders or our motives. We will stand for principle, and we will not back down. This is a Conservative Resistance. Our Resistance will not be partisan, it will be ideological. The real political struggle underway is a struggle of differing world views—collective liberalism and freedom-based conservatism.

Our most important task is to grow, recruit, and build each congressional district so that we can educate, inform and create change in the 2010 election. We will identify those we want to support and encourage them to run and in the interim show people the voting record of those we want replaced. This is our greatest opportunity for taking back our country and we will build momentum from that election and continue for the next election in 2012.

Listen to the Patriotic Resistance Radio ShowYou can go straight to blogtalk radio from here. Time - 8-10 pm CST. This will be a continuing Radio show...so tune in Every Wednesday Night at this time.

Quote on Prosperity
You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that, my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."*

A friend Denise asked me to post this for her....seems like a good idea....

Senator Claire McCaskill
5850 A Delmar Blvd.
St. Louis, MO 63112

Dear Senator McCaskill,

I just returned from a visit to your Springfield office. I went there to ask you to vote NO on cloture on the Senate Health Care Bill. I arrived at 12:30 pm. The door was locked and there was a note on the door that someone would be back there at 3 pm. I left a note on the door asking you to vote NO.

Several people came while I was there and added their names to my note. Several said they had tried to call you but repeatedly got your voice mailbox saying it was full. I always seem to call after hours in Washington and have to leave a voicemail.

I was very frustrated that you did not have staff available at your office when I took the time out of my day to come and make my voice heard. This is the first time I have ever done that.

Maybe you will pay attention when you get this letter. I am e-mailing all my friends to ask them to copy and send this letter to you after adding their name and address to the bottom. I will also ask them to pass it on.

It may be easy for you to discount the phone calls, emails, and even personal appearances at your various offices from your constituents. But when this letter gets mailed to you over and over again, signed by constituents from all over the State of Missouri, maybe, hopefully, prayerfully, you will finally listen to our voices and understand we will not give up fighting to save our country.

I hope your mailbox is stuffed in the coming weeks. I do not want this kind of Health Care Reform! It will continue to bankrupt our Country. There are simpler, free steps we can take to make positive changes.

Sincerely Fighting for the United States of America I grew up in,

Denise C. Hay
2311 W Brooklane St.
Springfield, MO 65807

Print it Sign it at the bottom, adding your name and address
Mail it to her Then email it to as many fellow Missourians as you can.
When she gets the same letter from addresses all across Missouri . . .When her mailbox is stuffed day after day . . .When the pile on her desk grows taller than the Health Care Bill in print . . .She can no longer deny how widespread the discontent is OR the number of her constituents involved in saving America.
Thank you, Denise

I wrote and changed my mind, took it down. I thought why bother you all. My post was nothing more than a vent-frustration with the whole mess.
Amen to what you said Ms Jean C "Those Bastards" a hell bent on ruining this country and there's not a thing we can do about it, short of an out right revolt.
Dan Duckworth Comment by Dan Duckworth 1 hour ago
I did a google search for newspapers in Nebraska, then register, and comment on the most popular articles. Customizing the message of course to health care! One on football, I said I would be so ashamed that I would not even travel to play football against Kansas if my senator voted for this healthcare bill like senator Nelson. I don't know if it does any good, but it should spark some debates! I have spent some time on papers in Missouri also and will spend more. I can cut and paste and getting fasterer. Getting Registered and remembering ID's on all the sites is the hardest thing! Just FYI for when the mail is too slow and the phone no longer works!

Di went to Claire's office today and talked to her staff about the Health Care Bill,,,,the staff person was very nice, as she should be...took our name individually and our comment and phone and zip code number...About 30 of us showed up....2 of our State Reps were there also and spoke to her. I was told that her message box was full, I believe that is a trick they pull, they don't empty their messages so they can't get any more messages....That has happened to me.....or either the lines are busy...........We stood out side her office with a few signs for about 2 1/2 hours......She will not listen to us....Did you all hear that LA. is going to get $100 million if their Senator votes for this bill....deals are made,,,,Nelson is going to vote also,,,,Lincoln, we still do not know how she is going to vote,,,,nor have I heard how Evan Byth is going to vote....
Chris Comment by Chris 2 hours ago
I too am having trouble getting through on the fax machine. D.C. circuits are busy. Gonna keep trying. Glad I faxed McCaskill something yesterday, although I'm sure she'll ignore all of us.
DiHerself Comment by DiHerself 3 hours ago
We must be frying the DC phone lines. I can't get through to McC either directly or indirectly.
She likes to mention "democracy"....if that's majority rule, then how can she justify ignoring her constituents call to vote NO? Just wondering - I know the answer.
Yesterday, she tweeted this gem: "clairecmc If we printed the health care bill in regular size font it would be same legnth as Sarah Palin's book, but with more meat on the bone." What stunning WIT!!!
I could not be more disgusted.
