PERSONAL UPDATE: Energy and Commerce committee markup of healthcare bill finished around 9:15 pm Friday...bill passed 31-28.....all republicans and 5 democrats voted no...31 democrats voted yes....the bill goes to the rules committee where it will be merged with two other bills for the floor in the fall..the bill includes public funding for abortion, a payroll tax on incomes and small business revenues above $350,000
