Funny how the media wont carry our resistance to this administration and it's disastrous policies-- Makes you wonder- Even FOX is pretty calm about it all- BUT, there are millions of us, and we'll be heard loud and clear next year when we dump them all and make this turkey a lame duck-- Gotta love it- WHK

In March, 2007, I had a conversation with a dentist that I was seeing. The topic of illegal immigrants came up. Our views differed quite frankly. He sides with the views of the left (Democrats and Liberals) while I was opposed. He became a bit irritated with my comments. I told him then that because people wanted God out of everything and little effort was made by the religious leadership that I strongly felt that God was going to answer. I went further and stated that we have been inundated with a flood of vile people within our government. And because we have become a godless and a corrupt people that God was preparing to delivered this country into the hands of a people more vile, more corrupt, more wicked and more evil than we as a nation have ever known. In effect, God was going to show that he is indeed God and there is no other like him. I further told him that in the end, God would judge individuals, but until that time, God would judge nations. And our time has been appointed and nothing except the people repent and turn back to the God who delivered this nation over to those seeking religious freedom. Yet the people will come under the wrath because they are stiff necked and rebellious. They are haters of God, detesting righteousness, advocating perverseness in the name of freedom. If God's judgment is brought down upon the heads of the people, nobody can change the mind of God except on knees and humbleness. Man cannot withstand the will of the Creator and Judge.

It sure is good to see that there are more people out here who realize that God is in control of all things . Even better to see some people aren't afraid to use our God's name in letter form when they speak . Keep up the good work Don , if people don't or won't read their bible they can read it here and see the judgement coming when they read the articles. Maybe even some will call upon the name of Je'sus and be saved as well . Thanks for speaking up. (Don---NY)

Not to be too technical...but although God is indeed able to control anything and everything...he did that little thing way back when...He gave man freedom of choice...and along with that...responsibility/accountability for our actions. No matter what may temporarly give us comfort, what excuses we may make about all those other people who are doing bad things...we are still citizens of this nation, the rightful sovereigns and ultimate authority to which or government is accountable on earth...so

We can say that God is punishing us and there is nothing we can do but pray, and beg forgiveness. But what about taking responsibility for our own actions (and more importantly, our inactions and apathy) and throwing these immoral, baby killing, constitution breaking, oath of office ignoring non-representatives out of office... Now don't you think God would almost prefer that to our just laying down on the job of citizenship,blaming others and doing nothing constructive to solve our own problems?

Barbara, what a dentist might do insofar as providing discomfort and downright pain, think of this. The time is not too far off when many shall suffer because of the name of Christ. Many Christians believe there will be a rapture and they will taken from the Earth, but I assure you that that is not so. One reason is that a scripture used for support of such a doctrine in Revelation was not intended for the end times, but for the believers during the time of Nero's persecution. Paul made it clear that when believers are changed from corruptible into incorruptible that it would occur and the sound of the last trump. The last trump is the seventh trump of Revelation and when that trump is sounded it is finished and Christ makes his return.
But before the sound of that trump there will be persecutions like the world has never seen since the beginning. The great falling away from the gospel as Christ foretold has already been fulfilled. All one need do is examine the teachings of the churches of today. Accepting what God condemns and condemning what God finds acceptable. Those leaders and teachers which Christ called murderers and liars and leading many down the path to judgment. And sadly no one seems the wiser. As in the days of Christ these leaders have the outward appearance of holiness and godliness, but inside their souls are full of darkness for they glorify not the true God, but the god of this world and its systems.

i'm afraid you're right, Don. Many Christians think they'll escape the hardships and persecution because of the Rapture. But I keep thinking about the verse that says something like the Just will suffer with the UnjustAnd the Churches have moved so far away from the Church of the New Testament, i'm sure the Lord is grieved. Yes, those who believe in the gospel will suffer for it. They are that which is called the "Elect". Elected for salvation before the foundation of creation. Predestined, With that it should not be difficult to know that we existed before the foundation of the Earth, but were put upon this world in the body that we might be sanctified by salvation, which required a blood sacrifice. Without our becoming flesh salvation could not be made.
A "Rapture" of the church is fallacy indeed. People accepting a pretribulation doctrine will be in for quite a rude awakening and perhaps lose faith, finding they are in the midst of troubled times. Not seeing that Paul referred to the seventh trump, which is found in Revelation.
Because the churches have departed from the gospel, all are in rebellion, having forsaken the truth for a lie. Such teachers are called murderers and liars.
If the churches scrapped the unholy doctrines and returned to the truth, many would be made prepared for that which is to come. But because the churches have departed they are no longer a church of Christ, but a Synagogue of Satan.
I wish people would wake up. Take up reading and seek after the truth rather than sitting, listening and believing what they are taught without examining scriptures for proof of that being passed to them as truth, but disguised lies.
I anticipate that the current situation in our country is preparation for that which is to come upon the world. And which we have been foretold.

God bless you, Don! The problem with our world today is the attempted removal of God from our daily lives, as well as the removal of our family "nucleus".......I have my personal relationship with my Lord and it warms my spiritual heart to witness others like you who value and cherish Him!

AJ. There was a time when I had not the time nor the desire for the gospel. Oh, I knew there was a God and I knew there was a Savior. I did half heartedly get involved with a couple different churches. I shall not mention any by name. I was never content with the teachings and fell away for quite some time.
Having served two tours in Vietnam with Air Cavalry Units, flying scout missions I was fortunate in that there were several occasions that by all rights I should have shipped home in an aluminum coffin. I don't believe in luck, good nor bad, and I knew that God had a hand in delivering me from what should have been an early end. Even after that and years later I was rebellious. I had not the ability to know scriptures and relied on others, who I deemed knowledgeable. But I was sadly mistaken.
One day, a several years ago, I got the itch to check things out. One odd thing I found was with the Book of Daniel, where Daniel identifies the time in which he was taken into Babylonian captivity. I had pretty presumed what everyone else seemed to have understood. That it was simple and that it was the first three years of Jehoiakim's reign. But when reading through Jeremiah and backtracking through 2nd Kings and 2nd Chronicles, I discovered that Daniel wasn't referring to the first three years, but the last three of Jehoiakim's reign. I had to go back through Jeremiah to find out a possible reason Daniel had forsook the previous eight years.
I do know this. If I become perplexed with something, I seek to gain the knowledge rather than formulating a hurried opinion. I know the answer will come, but maybe not when I'd like it.
Anyway, Christ is both God and Creator. And it has pierced my heart that God should become as a man for the purpose of providing everlasting salvation through that death. As is written in Issiah, the weight of the government shall be upon his shoulders and he shall be called among other names, Everlasting Father. And since we all have been spiritually dead, I had no realization that we all, born of water through woman, existed spiritually long before the foundation of the Earth. And it was rebellion in spiritual high places that now required either destruction of all creation, or creation through which salvation could only be accomplished. Through blood sacrifice, which only one could provide. The Creator, himself.
