Obama Takes First Step in Banning All Firearms

On Wednesday the Obama administration took its first major step in a plan to ban all firearms in the United States.

The Obama administration intends to force gun control and a complete ban on all weapons for US citizens through the signing of international treaties with foreign nations. By signing international treaties on gun control, the Obama administration can use the US State Department to bypass the normal legislative process in Congress.

Once the US Government signs these international treaties, all US citizens will be subject to those gun laws created by foreign governments. These are laws that have been developed and promoted by organizations such as the United Nations and individuals such as George Soros and Michael Bloomberg.

The laws are designed and intended to lead to the complete ban and confiscation of all firearms.

The Obama administration is attempting to use tactics and methods of gun control that will inflict major damage to our 2nd Amendment before US citizens even understand what has happened. Obama can appear before the public and tell them that he does not intend to pursue any legislation (in the United States) that will lead to new gun control laws, while cloaked in secrecy, his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton is committing the US to international treaties and foreign gun control laws.

Does that mean Obama is telling the truth?

What it means is that there will be no publicized gun control debates in the media or votes in Congress. We will wake up one morning and find that the United States has signed a treaty that prohibits firearm and ammunition manufacturers from selling to the public.

We will wake up another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that prohibits any transfer of firearm ownership.

And then, we will wake up yet another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that requires US citizens to deliver any firearm they own to the local government collection and destruction center or face imprisonment.

This is not a joke nor a false warning. As sure as government health care will be forced on us by the Obama administration through whatever means necessary, so will gun control.

U.S. reverses stance on treaty to regulate arms trade
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States reversed policy on Wednesday and said it would back launching talks on a treaty to regulate arms sales as long as the talks operated by consensus, a stance critics said gave every nation a veto.

The decision, announced in a statement released by the U.S. State Department, overturns the position of former President George W. Bush's administration, which had opposed such a treaty on the grounds that national controls were better.

Every state is different. Do you know Rein Gillstrom?

Nevada's grass roots conservatives just succeeded in taking over the state GOP. Just yesterday. And I just learned the same thing happened at the Minnesota state GOP convention.

Again, to achieve this, conservatives who have not been politically active have to actually DO SOMETHING for a change. And those that are in party politics already as precinct committeemen have to go where conservatives gather, online and in person, and teach the conservatives who want to "do something" what to "do" that matters -- getting involved in party politics as a precinct committeeman.

More power to you in your precinct activities, but I have found that to be very frustrating also. At the county level you might succeed in taking back the party with a majority of precinct people, but when they go to your state convention the party bosses will try to slam dunk your counties and maintain their stranglehold. In Montana they tried to change the whole way the party is controlled, and make a bunch of appointed positions at the top consisting of incumbent legislators and other officers. We had a candidate for party chairman, but those in power had their agenda and we got a McCain type moderate as chairman. Be warned that you will need a super majority of like minded precinct people at the state convention to get any changes made, and they will spend all the parties' money to stop you.
During the election I was at a fair booth campaigning and wearing my Ron Paul hat. They old party hacks were trying to get me to put a McCain sticker on my car. I told them if Ron Paul could not be the nominee, I would rather see Obama get it than McCain. They were horrified. So I explained that if McCain were elected we would get 8 more years of Bush and everyone would go back to sleep, but if Obama were elected everyone would stay wide awake and fight for freedom. That is exactly what is happening. If Ron Paul had been the nominee of the national GOP, he very well might be the president right now, that is if they didn't put a bullet in his head. In either case we would have a total change in the right direction.
So in Montana the old party line from the top down was, "OH you can't vote for Ron Paul in the primary because you will split the vote."
Hogwash. Just be warned that the RINOs (Republican in name only) at the top will stab you in the back if you don't have a super majority.
It's about control, and the party at the national level is in the hip pocket of the CFR, so my question to you is what is your plan to change that at the national level. Is your total plan based on precinct committe takeover? Do you really think we have time for that?

Paul and Gale,
I know all about the problems you mentioned. You said the REAL problem is the judiciary in the context of things that took decades ago. I'm talking about today's reality. The reality, right now, today, is that on election day, 2008, only 60 per cent of eligible voters bothered to vote. And, as Paul says, they are not very educated about the law and politics. Also, on election day, 2008, only HALF of the Republican Party precinct committeeman slots were filled. Half. No wonder we have a Party that has members that don't advocate or follow the principles and values in its conservative Platform -- there aren't enough conservatives/libertarians in the Party to DEMAND that that happens. The old saw about the "real" Golden Rule is that he who has the gold makes the rules. In party politics, those who have a majority of the votes in a political party make the rules and elect the leadership and determine who wins the primary elections. Not enough of "we the conservative peope" have been involved in Republican Party politics where it matters. Paul, my hat is off to you because you are a precinct committeeman. I automatically give what you say about the Party and how to fix it more weight than someone who is not in the Party as a real participant.
Let's fix what we can fix now. Then worry about the non-ratified Amendments. First, let's fill up all the vacant PC slots with conservatives and create a conservative majority within the Republican Party. Then, let's fix the rest. We won't be able to fix anything without a conservative majority.
The conservatives in Clark County, NV did it. The conservatives in Utah are doing it. We can duplicate this everywhere.
Gale, are you going to try in Ohio?
I and others are trying hard to accomplish it here in Arizona.

Hey Cold Warrior,
The solution is education about the law and how the internationalist cabal has subverted our Constitution. When you study the history of it all you will be drawn to the conclusion that we have not been a party to that Constitution for decades. The cabal wants us to be fighting the "political" fight without the understanding of how to really get at the criminal activity. The real problem is not in the executive or legislative branches, although they really are full of criminal behavior, graft and corruption. The REAL problem is in the judiciary and the unconstitutional amendments that have been shoved down the throat of the American people fraudulently. Nobody ever says the real truth about the 16th amendment, for example.

You will never hear this from the leaders of the "Republican Party" especially on a national level.
The 16th amendment (income tax) was NEVER a law. It was never properly ratified. I can prove that. Go to the website of a man that went personally to the archive of every state legislature that was involved and collected over 17,000 notarized (certified) documents proving the NON-RATIFICATION of the income tax amendment. His name is Bill Benson, and he was an auditor with the Illinois department of revenue. He teamed up with our own Red Beckman of Montana and they wrote a book called "The Law That Never Was". The IRS has been extorting money from us all the time, "under the color of law" without any law at all, and nobody seems to care at the top or anywhere in the leadership of the Republican party.

Another issue is the 17th Amendment. At the same time he did the research on this amendment also. Guess what. It is a NON Law also.
That means the States lost their representation in the Senate by FRAUD. But nobody wants to hear that either.

Then there is the 14th Amendment, that supposedly freed the slaves.
What a fraud that is. It was not properly ratified either.

I don't know what I was thinking when I started following this group.

I guess, I thought that there were people out there that thought like I did about the state of the GOP.

Virginialee, with the current people that we have in DC we will not be able to stop them from enacting the Cap and Trade, Health Care, or the Copenhagen treaty. These people have all shown their true colors and voted for larger and more intrusive government their entire political life. Until we realize they are the problem we won't stop them.

The "system" as Cold Warrior has brought up many times has caused the situation. We have 2 groups of elite, career politicians that have voted for more and more government intervention.

The "system" of electing our candidates allows for a few individuals to control who we are able to vote for. These individuals have made it so difficult for average citizens to get on the ballot that most people don't want the hassle.

When the leaders of a political party decided who they are going to endorse anywhere from 1 - 4 years before an election, doesn't this tell you something?

If we continue to listen to the don't split the vote pundits, we will never change the direction of the country.

Paul is right, had the Republicans truly wanted to be conservatives, they would have supported someone of than a moderate (liberal).

Great. Thank you for trying to use "the system." I appreciate your frustration. You say party politics is not the solution.

Then, what is?

I believe party politics IS the solution provided enough of "we the people" get involved. If that doesn't happen, the United States will go the way of the Roman Empire. There might not be anything we can do about it.

What do you think the solution is? Your response seems to suggest that party politics WILL work as long as we nominate a "hard core" Constitutionalist, which I agree with. Maybe we're on the same wavelength.

Yes I am a Republican precinct committeeman right now in Lincoln County Montana, and I am also the State committeeman so I sit on the state central committee.
Party policitcs is not the solution. The party bosses have way too much control. They poison the elections by saying things like "Oh you have to support the party and John McCain or you will split the vote and get the Democrats elected" Bull. In Montana we were told that, and almost 10,000 votes were cast for Ron Paul. John McCain still got the nomination. At least I know there are 10,000 people in Montana who have the courage of their convictions and do their own thinking.
If Republicans really want to win in 2010, (assuming we still have a country by then) they need to nominate someone like Ron Paul, or Chuck Baldwin, not any current incumbent, or party hack.
