To all -
The United States Senate is preparing to declare war on the American People. If you believe otherwise, you are mistaken. If you believe there is some other "line in the sand" that they dare not cross, you are mistaken. After nearly one year of Tea Parties, townhall meetings, endless emails and telephone calls, being pummelled by Glenn Beck, private meetings with our elected officials, and direct snail mail to them there can be no doubt in their minds that they have been adequately forewarned and that they are aware of the depth of concern of the American people.
One if by land, two if by sea, and three if by congress. We have had the TARP funds under Bush, the stimulus package and omnibus budget bill, the supplemental bills, extension of the limitations of our debt, the apology tour, the failure to protect our troops in combat, the cancellation of the protective shield over eastern Europe, the insults against England, bowing to the King of Saudi Arabia, the turned back against Israel, communists and marxists in the presidential administration, the takeover of the banks and insurance and automotive industries, the first attempt at Cap and Trade, the provision of Constitutional rights to KSM even as our rights are under assault, the threatened investigations of the CIA, the protection of ACORN by congress, the internet tracking by the White House, a trip to Asia where the only event that occurred was the warning by China that we are overextended, the loss of value of our currency, a jobless rate over 10%, the unconstitutional capping of income at Wall Street firms (whether you agree with it or not, it is unconstitutional), the unconstitutional replacement of a CEO at GM by the president, the assault on us "teabaggers" and townhall attendees, and now the "Healthcare Bill." Do you think that there might be a pattern here?
At what point do you say "enough!", arm yourself, and begin to organize other armed folks? What will it take for the men of this country to recognize tyranny and act to thwart it? Remember, it was a 3 cent tax on tea that broke the camel's back in 1775. There are dozens of new taxes, tax increases, removal of tax decreases, extensions of social security and medicare taxes, and decreases in medicare benefits that are occurring in the next few months.
The national debt and the tax burdens being proposed place this country in grave danger. If we had this debt going into WWII we would have been unable to fight two fronts.
The children of this country are being born and raised in economic slavery. In addition to the current taxes (federal, state, local, property, sales, medicare, and social security) the debt that they will have to meet and pay will be $400,000. They will have to pay that in their lifetimes, as that is when all the obligations come due. So tack an additional $400,000 onto what you have paid in your life and ask yourself what kind of lifestyle you would be living now. How many years would you have to work just to pay that extra debt - that is economic slavery. Is this the way we wish to be remembered by history? - as the generation that dumped economic slavery on our children for our own benefit? As the generation who threw away our liberty? As the generation that bowed before tyranny? As the generation that was too frightened to act? As the generation who placed this country in a position where we could not defend ourselves against foreign aggressors? We had it all and gave it away! What a disgrace.

Who Benefits from Farmers Markets?

Small farm operators: Those with less than $250,000 in annual receipts who work and manage their own operations meet this definition (94 percent of all farms).

Farmers and consumers: Farmers have direct access to markets to supplement farm income. Consumers have access to locally grown, farm-fresh produce and the opportunity to personally interact with the farmer who grows the produce.

The community: Many urban communities where fresh, nutritious foods are scarce gain easy access to food. Farmers markets also help to promote nutrition education, wholesome eating habits, and better food preparation, as well as boosting the community’s economy.

If Hoffman wins after all, then Cao's vote did matter more than he suspected.

I received a campaign solicitation from Cao. I didn't trust him, so he did not receive any funds from me. Wish I had kept it, so I could send it back with a note. Very few politicians have my respect. They have none for us.

and here I cheered for Cao when he won the election.
he is now part of evil-remember you are either part of the solution or part of the problem.
This man is the problem, is evil, and has to go.

Joe the Plumber found out what obama's committment means
Kate Svagdis Comment by Kate Svagdis on November 8, 2009 at 10:01am
a committment to union every hospital or clinic which accepts one dime of gov't money or forgiveness.

Cao obtained a commitment from Obama that he would work together to address the health care issues of Louisiana, including the FMAP crisis and community disaster loan forgiveness, as well as issues related to Charity and Methodist Hospitals.

He obtained a “commitment from President Obama.”

You know what that’s worth: Nothing.
Kate Svagdis Comment by Kate Svagdis on November 8, 2009 at 7:13am
Cao-less gov't, less taxes. He let WH know he was undecided, he must've wanted something, so they paid him a visit-underscore word paid.
All blue dogs have to go-they voted partyline not to recommit!
