I believe Gov Sarah Palin has the same rights as we all do in choosing who she backs and votes for. And I agree that any person elected to an office should be watched on every issue. We all know better now, how to protect 'our' rights and how to keep 'our' voices at the forefront. It is our fault our country has fallen so far off the path.

Scott Brown was not the ideal choice of real conservatives, but yesterday he stood with the Republicans to block the Obama TSA pick....

This battle to return to conservatism will not be accomplished immediately and sometimes, yes, to keep as conservative of voting block as possible in Congress, you will have to chose the lesser of two evils among the conservative candidates or risk handing the Progressives a win. Given that senario, a slightly left conservative is better than a 100% Progressive in any seat.

I have come to realize that the lessor of 2 evils is a fools endeavor and why we are where we are, I choose not to play their raindeer games and will try something completely new and non-political A VOTE FOR MEDINA IS OUR ONLY HOPE Your vote is your bullet and you get to choose to use it on them or yourself. I'm using mine to shoot them down!

Patricia,
I've spent more than a year watching, searching, researching, listening, viewing video after video of rallies I couldn't attend and interviews both in video, and in print.

When I weigh everything I've done above, I can say with a good heart that I must stay where I am. I can't take a chance with our state, like so many across America did in '08. I'm not a hopey changey type of person in any respect. I'm simply a conservative person and have no desire to entertain or encourage problems or people that could land us in a blood bath because of sucession. I want someone leading our state that has a level head and a steady hand. When something has to be done, it will be without reproach in our legislature and courts. And I also believe that avenues can be taken to prevent it all together.

So, no, I can't take that chance.

I had to join this group just to respond to this post and to several others. I live in the state of WA and you people who claim to not know Debra Medina should be ashamed. I don't even live in Texas and apparently know more about all your Governor candidates that some of you here! I know because of Face Book.

I would suggest joining Face Book and joining Debra Medina's Face Book page and get to know the woman! She's running a constitution based campaign, supports the concepts of freedom, property rights, small govt., and fair taxes.

Check out Debra Medina's Rockwell, TX videos. The first one starts with most most views and works up. There are nine of them. If an out-of-stater can take the time when I can't even vote for her, only donate, surely you all can take the time to see them and get to know her.

I also am informed about Perry and his lies. I learned because of informed Texans on her Face Book page. Again, why am I more informed about your Governor race than some of you? BTW, if Medina wins, the whole nation wins. That's how important this election is.

Sharon, the facts you know are the facts medina and her people want you to know. You do not have all the facts, or your tone would be different. And if you trust medina and her people to tell you the truth about Gov Perry, I have an island in Colorado to sell you. Geesh, I really am amazed when this happens.

Believing everything you read on social network sites is how Obama got elected. While Medina MIGHT make a good Gov., I am not willing to believe everything she says. There are many things I do not like about Rick Perry, but our state is in good financial condition because of Perry and we know what to expect from him. We will watch Medina and at some time in the future we may elect her as Gov. but she will have to give us more than just rhetoric to get the votes needed. We can not afford to base our votes on what people say they will do. America elected an unknown based on rhetoric last year and look what it got us.
Elections have consequences and this is not the time for further experiments.

I ask you, to what attitude are you referring? I don't have an attitude about the "nit-picking" statement. I was just stating the facts as I see them.
No, we ended up with BHO because people were snowed by his smooth words and his promises. He is a liar, plain and simple. I pray the people are now, wide awake and paying close attention to every politician!
