Major Nidal Hasan was one of the Task Force Event Participants for the transition team at the Georgetown University's Homeland Security Policy Insititute. He was not a part of the Department of Homeland Security. http://www.gwumc.edu/hspi/old/PTTF_ProceedingsReport_05.19.09.pdf

Way to go Bruce. I too have contacted Harkin. A diplomat I am not and I strongly "urged" him to oppose many things in astroturf Reids reform legislation. I also urged him to oppose the appointment of " NO to Jesus-- yes to allah" David Hamilton to the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. I also BLASTED Loebsack, Braley and Boswell for supporting the wicked witch of the west Pelosi and their party instead of the majority of Americans. Pelosi's THREE STOOGES from Iowa -- gosh, I hope I offended them.
Has anyone else heard that the murdering muslim terrorist-- Nidal Hasan ( Fort Hood ) was on NObama's Homeland Security Team? I've read this a few times but cannot confirm it.

Just sent this to our nonrepresenting senator Harkin on the health care bill. it is as follows: I strongly urge you to vote NO on this health care feasco. If NOT I will NOT sign up for or USE ANY PUBLIC OPTION or PAY ANY PENALTIES for NOT doing so.
And if your vote comes back as YES expect me to support and campaign for ANY opponet to your re-election. I am a registered Republican but I will support a third party candidate who supports the CONSTITUTION, BILL OF RIGHTS, AND OUR DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE!!!! DO YOU HEAR US NOW, WE THE PEOPLE ARE STANDING UP TO BE HEARD, SO START LISTENING TO US!!!!
RESTORE OUR CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC NOW!!!!!!!

From Congressman Tom Price:
Cost to the Taxpayers
The Democrats detached the permanent “doc fix” provision from the larger bill, H.R. 3962, and introduced it separately (without it being paid for), as H.R. 3961, so that the cost of the “doc fix” would not count against the cost of the underlying government healthcare takeover bill for the purposes of PAY-GO. On November 4, 2009 CBO determined that H.R. 3961 will cost $210 billion over 10 years. CBO reduced its cost estimate from a previous $245 billion in H.R. 3200 due to the Obama administration’s, acting through HHS, retroactive removal of the cost of physician-administered drugs (and other services provided incident to the physician visit) from the formula. However, even the $245 billion figure was understated as CBO had already reduced the score to take into account the pending HHS regulations. The true cost of H.R. 3961 is $279 billion without being paid for. In 2005 and 2006 when faced with significant cuts, Republicans found ways to pay for it. Some conservatives may be concerned that the Democrats are not being honest with the American people concerning the cost of this legislation.
Furthermore, according to the Budget Committee, if the “doc fix” was added back to the health reform bill, the result would increase the deficit by $170 billion. Adding the SGR fix to the Pelosi government takeover of health care bill (H.R.3962) would bring the true cost up $1.5 trillion.

Wow....Watching that video made my breath catch in my throat. To think that there are Americans who have thought like this...and that there still are! Terrifying what people will convince themselves is okay for whatever reason.

Received this from a friend. You may have seen it before but it is a good reminder of how our congress became so currupt.
THIS IS HOW WE FIX CONGRESS!!!

This proposal is to promote a "Congressional Reform Act of 2009." It would contain eight provisions, all of which would probably be strongly endorsed by those who drafted the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

I know many of you will say, "this is impossible." Let me remind you, Congress has the lowest approval of any entity in Government, now is the time when Americans will join together to reform Congress - the entity that represents us.

We need to get a Senator to introduce this bill in the US Senate and a Representative to introduce a similar bill in the US House. These people will become American heroes.

***********************************
Congressional Reform Act of 2009

1. Term Limits: 12 years only, one of the possible options below.
A. Two Six-year Senate terms
B. Six Two-year House terms
C. One Six-year Senate term and three Two-Year House terms

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to work.

2. No Tenure / No Pension: A congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to work.

3. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security: All funds in the Congressional retirement fund moves to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, Congress participates with the American people.

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, server your term(s), then go home and back to work.

4. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan just as all Americans..

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to work.

5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to work.

6. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to work.

7. Congress must equally abide in all laws they impose on the American people.

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to work.

8. All contracts with past and present congressmen are void effective 1/1/10. The American people did not make this contract with congressmen, congressmen made all these contracts for themselves.

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to work.

U.S. Pension Guarantee Fund Deficit Doubles
by The Associated Press

The government insurer of bankrupt companies' pension funds says its deficit this year nearly doubled to $22 billion.

The weak economy put the Pension Benefit Guarantee Corp. on the hook for pensions from 144 new pension plans during the year. Low interest rates also pushed down its future revenue projections.

The PBGC's investments returned 13.2 percent for the year, pulling it back from a record $33.5 billion deficit in May. Last year's deficit was $11.2 billion.

The PBGC is directly responsible for the benefits of 1.5 million workers and retirees.

Their benefits are in no immediate danger, but experts warn that the PBGC eventually could require a taxpayer bailout.

As you know by now, Obama and Holder are planning on bringing the 9/11 masterminds to
NYC for trial. There is a massive grassroots movement to block this - retired members of the FDNY, theBravest.com, have partnered with 9/11 Families for a Safe & Strong and America and Keep America Safe to bring attention to this travesty. They are recruiting the families & friends of the FDNY to combat this ill-conceived policy of the current administration. They are asking that all of America join in with them by signing their petition at the following link:
http://www.thebravest.com/fdny.htm

over the past 48 hours, 60,000 people have signed the petition. l heard the founder of thebravest.com on a NYC talk show tonight - he was in the WTC when it was hit, he is passionate about this, he is ready to go to the wall over this - he needs us to stand with him.

please send this out to your email list, and ask them to forward it along.
we cannot passively sit by and allow this to happen.
