Calvin,

We must demand our legislators read the health care bills! How could they even consider voting on a proposed law that could radically change health care in America without reading it first? Have they forgotten that they work for us?

Calling the language in the current health care bill “arcane”, “confusing”, “hard to understand”, and “incomprehensible”, Senator Tom Carper (D-DE) admitted to CNSNews.com that he wasn’t going to read the actual legislative language because he finds it “one of the more confusing things I have ever read in my life.”

Is he kidding? Click here to view this CNSNews.com video.

With the liberal media languishing in their Obama-induced stupor, and seemingly unable or unwilling to do real reporting, the alternative media are stepping up and breaking these kinds of outrageous stories—from the corruption of ACORN to the radical views of Obama’s czars to this astonishing admission that lawmakers don’t actually read the bills they vote on!

And they wonder why we don’t trust them to do what’s best for us!

Since our CNSNews.com team broke this amazing story, it has rippled across the blogosphere, being picked up by several conservative websites, including the Drudge Report and Michelle Malkin.
Americans are demanding more accountability from our lawmakers, who seem befuddled that citizens would want access to the actual bill as it’s written as opposed to trusting them to summarize it for us.

Calvin, the leftist media certainly aren’t going to report on this kind of brazen arrogance. The alternative media broke this story, and now we’re turning to you to help us get the word out to a nation that is being deceived—not only by the media but by our lawmakers as well …
Until the media stop promoting ObamaCare and hiding ugly truths like the one in this CNSNews.com video, we need to continue to demand accountability from them.

Please invite your friends and family to sign our "Demand the Media 'Tell the Truth!' About Government-Run Health Care" petition. After viewing the attached video, forward this entire note to 25-30 family members and friends, encouraging them to watch the video and sign our petition.

With your help, we can spread this important video across the nation—reaching tens of thousands of citizens who can sign our petition and go on record demanding greater accountability from the liberal media and from our elected representatives.

Thank you taking immediate action with the MRC for truth in the media.

The Bunning Amendment S. 2653, introduced by Senator Bunning (R-KY) was blocked today by Senator Mikulski (D-MD) because it violated Rule 16 p.4 of S. 2847, The Dept. of Commerce, Justice, and Science Appropriations Act.

The Bunning Amendment was to allow 72 hours to be provided for the reading of all bills, and to have them posted online.

She, Barbara Mikulski shot it down.

You can email her office at http://www.mikulski.senate.gov/contact/contact.cfm.

You can call her office at: (202)224-4654.

Mikulski is from Liberal Heaven, Maryland. I lived in Baltimore for 36 years. The dems have dominated there for 3 decades maybe more. If her direct constituents are happy with her she will not give a hoot about outside naysayers. One of the many reasons I had to get out out of that State and come to Texas. Austin is kinda Lib heaven too, but not as bad as Baltimore. Mikulski unfortunately will not be voted out until she has had it or death. And for Maryland politicians on the left, death usually comes first.

She SUCKS. I am glad I no longer live there. I am in Oklahoma, thank God....but that doesn't mean we are exempt from any of this hell we are facing. I won't go down without a fight!
