I'm still planning on a meeting tonight even though I haven't had much response. I'll have food and beer (and non-alcoholic stuff as well). Does that help?

I created an event for the meeting at my place tomorrow. This is my first attempt at this so I hope it works.

I think you can go to my home page and click on "Events" on the left side of the page.

I'd like to have some folks over this Saturday (1/30) around 5:00 PM to meet the people in this group and discussed our agenda and strategy. There's a lot of stuff going on and things are going to start happening fast. I'd like to see who would be interested in coordinating county level activities. I'd also like to see if I can get some help coordinating in the western and northern sections of CD 7.

If you're interested in coming over on Saturday send me an email at gordo208@comcast.net or call me at 303-330-4347 and I'll give you directions.

I just attended the Aurora Republican Forum and her are some of my thoughts.

CD 7 needs someone who can defeat Perlmutter without compromising the message.

Frazier and Lakey are the rock stars. Frazier probably does a little better as a contender since he appears to be the best prepared and most comfortable. Lakey is stronger on the conservative message.

Sias is pretty solid as well. He lacks a little charisma but he's a guy you can trust to get the job done.

Sheely is probably out-matched, but he's very likable. I also think he has a strong Colorado-conservative outlook.

Demming lacks a bit of polish and leans libertarian, but is very focused on Constitutional issues. He's probably trailing the pack but he hangs in there.

They started the meeting introducing some of the candidates for local races. And at the end they introduced Alli (sp?) Hassan who's running for state treasurer.

Sorry if you were there and I didn't see you.

Good idea - look for the name tag. I'll bring a few extras.

Thanks,

Gordon, did you see the name tags available here? Or there are business cards here.

Thanks to Krista's heads-up, I'm going to do my best to attend the Aurora Republican Forum tomorrow. It would be nice opportunity to meet anyone else from this group who may attend. Don't know how we'll hook up. If anyone has any ideas let me know.
