I concur. It's just a ploy to take some of the heat off of the junior house members to try to hold on to as many seats as possible.

The 4th covers a lot of ground. It might be well to divide it up into 3 or 4 sub-districts to make it more palatable. Let me know your thoughts

Hi Janice,

I'm so glad you've responded. As you can see, we are at the inception stage for the 4th CD. I am getting things going here in Longmont. The first thing we need to do is, of course, take care of the normal writing to members of Congress etc. I am convinced that conservative thought, like a lion, needs no defense. Simply remove its shackles and it will aptly defend itself. What the Obama administration is doing is to play a full court press strategy; to railroad so many things down the pike at once that we can't possibly set up a defense to react to it before he confronts us with another disastrous item needing our attention, and so on, and so on. The sad truth, in my estimation, is that we cannot deal with a lot of this at the federal level as both the Congress and presidency are owned by those trying to turn the US into a socialist/fascist state. Our primary hope, in my opinion, is in God and the Constitution. It is essential that we assert our state sovereignty under the 12th Amendment as several other states have done. A bill to reaffirm it has currently been tabled indefinitely at the capitol in Denver. I am most hopeful that we can push back somewhat during the mid-term elections. Until then, we have to "cowboy up" and "hold down the fort."
The items to do so are to 1) organize cooperatively, 2) grow exponentially, 3) disseminate information rapidly and 4) act decisively.

1. We need to keep in contact with and coordinate our efforts with the other CDs of Resistnet so that we act as one. This is essential. We need to find those who have a determination to commit to their area and see that their district is heard loud and clear via Resistnet. Our CD is so large that it will have to be divided into several sub-districts.
Our state director will have to maintain contact with tea-party-like organizations so that we may act in concert with them. If you can assume any responsibility here it would be useful.

2. Politicians have little time to listen to a hundred or so constituents. Therefore, we have to grow and grow quickly and exponentially. Like the crops in the field, the summertime affords the best time for growth. We can make our existence and ideas known by starting cells in churches, booths, colleges and other civic organizations. If you can do any of this, it would be appreciated.

3. In order to grow, we will have to disseminate information that informs others of the immediacy of the need, the justice of our cause and the conscientious duty to act. We can urge people to pass out books, pamphlets, wear t-shirts, bumper-stickers, cups, and direct them to the Resistnet site, etc.

4. Because we act out of necessity, we, for the most part, have other things to do such as family time, work, church, recreation, etc. Therefore we must minimize the time devoted to political activity and act decisively. Well directed efforts with the appropriate level of determination to participation is essential. We can have recreational times with our Resistnet groups if so desired but be must also be conscious and conscientious of the time of the constraints upon others.
Anyway, Janice, it's good to make your acquaintance and look to forward to seeing good things starting to happen in Ft. Morgan. Whatever you can do would be appreciated, no matter how small.
