Saturday, 3/20/10. I totally agree! In fact, since I heard her speak at our LD13 meeting on January 2nd, I haven't seen or heard much about her. One very cool thing was, just yesterday, Friday, 3/19/10, I saw a really nice big billboard of Janet on east bound Indian School Road & 40th Avenue by K-Mart! I was shocked! It was awesome! It took me by happy surprise.

Sunday, 3/14/10. I'm not a real active member on this website/forum, so don't know if I'm posting my comment in the correct area. Wanted to thank you, Fred Streeter, for posting the webcam radio interview of Pastor Van and Janet Contreras from 1010AM KXXT radio. Janet Contreras was a guest speaker at my LD13 monthly meeting on Saturday, 1/2/10 at Camelback Community Church at 76th Avenue & Camelback Road. What a great speaker. Very articulate. She knows the topics that are important to us, knows her facts, personable, friendly and loves interaction with the peeps. Ed Pastor has done nothing in Washington D.C. for many years and I can't wait to see him go. Janet Contreras is the person for the job!

Cold Warrior (Maricopa), Anne (Pima) and I (Pinal, Cochise & Yavapai) have been trying for weeks to get Kyl & McCain to meet with a large group of PC’s from 5 counties to discuss healthcare, Victory Arizona, etc. Here is the latest on that attempt.

After much pushing I heard from Elizabeth, Kyl's schedule, late Friday 1/8. The conversation got heated. I have not been called Sir so many times by one person in years. She brought up the "he did everything" and I beat back with "Kyl did not and he lied to us". I referenced Sen. Gregg's minority rights letter and asked if Kyl had done everything Gregg had listed, objections to unanimous consents, hard quorum calls, etc. Liz said she had never seen it. I faxed it to her and now she has seen it but facts are facts and Jon did not do what he could have, not by any measure.

We got into the changes in the party, new pc's, tea party going to Maricopa mandatory meeting, the coming changes in county/state leadership, etc. I told her that her callback was appreciated, more than McRINO did. We know we have a more serious problem with our senior Senator and we will fix that in the primary. With Kyl we are trying to save the country from the HC disaster and, along the way, determine if we have a problem with the junior Senator to fix in 2012. We think he may be OK but he has got to walk the talk. Liz said that felt like a threat. So I corrected her viewpoint and said we are talking about facts, positions and logical actions that will be taken. I made the point that time is of the essence. We got our requests into Kyl as soon as the HC mess passed on 12/24 and it will be back on the floor when they return from recess on 1/19. Kyl meeting with us after the recess is over is worthless as far as dealing with the HC mess is concerned.

Liz said meeting next week with Kyl is "very unlikely" but it is not no yet. Kyl will be at the Tucson TP 1/13 but Liz said that that has been in the works for weeks. Our request has also been in the works for weeks as well. Today Kyl seemed to have time as he was at the Phoenix studio of KYFI, 550 AM, and spent 1.5 hours on the air with Barry Young. If we don't get a meeting with Kyl before the end of this recess that tells me all I need to know regarding our junior Senator.

Nothing from Lois Halverson’s regarding a meeting with McCain. I think we consider that one done and just plan to put McRINO out to pasture in the primary.

The Director of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Lisa Jackson, will be in town to make a speech at the Board of Directors Meeting of the Edison Electric Institute. U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (North Carolina) will also be attending the meeting. They will be at the meeting to thank the Institute for supporting Cap & Trade.

Arizona State Senator Sylvia Allen held hearings on Cap & Trade this summer. The hearings illustrated how completely fraudulent the whole theory of global warming is and how destructive the Cap & Trade legislation will be if it passes. Senator Allen will be at the rally and will speak at 8:30 a.m.

Please come to this rally. It's very important to register opposition to the Cap & Trade legislation pending in Washington. If it passes, your electric utility rates will "skyrocket," which even the President admits. Every product that is manufactured will increase in price because of the increased costs of production, and the federal government will assume control of yet another industry -- the energy industry.

Please come to the rally on Thursday! If you cannot attend please write and call congress, again.

CALL TO ACTION TO ARIZONA PRECINCT COMMITTEEMEN!!

Cold Warrior (AKA Dan) and I are coordinating an effort to force Senators Kyl and McCain to meet with the conservative PC's during the recess. We have contacted Kyl's and McCain's schedulers to pull this together and force the issue and we may just pull it off. We would like to get as many AZ PC's on board as we can for meetings with the Senators. We need numbers that speak to the level of dissatisfaction that is present in the conservative base. We are getting contacted by PC's from Pima, Pinal, Cochise, Yavapai and Maricopa Counties. Please, Please, Please contact either Cold Warrior and me, let us know your contact info and the precinct you represent so we can get a head count to hit the Senators with. Folks we can pull this off and get our opinons and points accross to Kyl and McCain but we need the help and support of fellow AZ PC's.
