I would like to take them all out, but there are a lot of people who want a free ride from the government. They are too dumb to realize what it will cost them. I wish we could wake them all up! Norma Link

Norma I have alienated long time friends. I found the best way to recruit is by normal conversation and not turn it into a debate. Most people who voted for Obama are already offended by his antics and lies.

I'm looking to pass the FairTax. It repeals the 16th amendment, abolishes income tax, corporate tax, death taxes, taxes on investments, savings, and college. It replaces the income tax with a sales tax on new items only. No taxes on used items or for doing business. Triples the base by including services, illegal aliens and money made on the black market. Congress would have to have a constitutional amendment to raise taxes. That is what politicians HATE about it - it takes away their power to promise good tax breaks in exchange for votes or money. It would definitely turn things around.

There was a lot of debate on the Fair Tax. that was somewhat iffy pro and con but none of it was on new items only. Might incentivize the economy.
