NO! WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER CONSTITUTION!
If anything, we need to fight to keep our Constitution as it is.

I disagree, there needs to be a Con Con, with a pre-drafted document that strongly resricts any chance for the federal government from ever getting remotely as strong as it is now, and to strengthen the Rights of the States and all NATIVE BORN Citizens of the United States.

Those who are against a new Con Con, any of you familiar with Parliamentary Procedures? I would venture a guess that the answer is no, as ALL Conventions must be governed by Parliamentary Procedures, such as Demeter's or Roberts Rules, states that in the call to a special convention (which a Con Con is) the convention is limited to what is specified specifically in the call.

Of course not. The wisdom of the USA's Constitution as is--has been and will continue to be unsurpassed! Amendments only, and even then . . . w/extreme care and caution!

Part of that wisdom you speak about is found in Article 5 of the Constitution. Are we to think that all of the Constitution except Article 5 is wise? Of course not, the entire document stands alone as the unsurpassed form of self governing. This has been a very good discussion and all parties have good points. I will end with saying, "Article 5 is in the Constitution for a reason. Lets keep it on the table.

"The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate."

I am reading an old book, "The Birth of the Constitution." It helps one to see the difficulty of most intelligent, God-fearing men, trying to construct a Constitution. We don't even have their kind of people today.

Has anyone noticed how often Beck has Judge Napolitano on his show, espousing the call for a Constitutional Convention (Con Con?) I questioned Napolitano on this, and he actually had no answer. In reading one of his books, it is apparent he believes in the protection of homosexuality and possibly even worse--referring to it as "from birth," or between two consenting people in their own privacy. Now, how safe would he be in serving on the Con Con?

Further, Judge Napolitano says we can call a Con Con based on the purpose of only taking away the federal government's ability to get all the money they want. He has to know, first of all, the Constitution already gives us this. He also must know that all we need to do is to repeal the 16th and 17th amendments to cure the problem of "money and taxes!" Why doesn't he talk about this? Why is Beck allowing this on his show?

Is anyone out there aware that the owner of FOX is a Bilderberg? I hope that tells you something, and that you will stop trusting Beck--or ANY media or media person! There is an anti-American motive here, and we have to see this, and we have to stop this!

Please begin tomorrow putting constant pressure on your state reps. to write laws protecting your states, ALL of your Constitutional freedoms and priviledges, and "recall" legislation so that those you have elected (hopefully) can be yanked from office when the obey the likes of O. Also, demand that your reps. write legislation repealing the use of any machines for elections. Use paper ballots only, so you can have poll watchers, and the ballotts counted before your very eyes. Voting legislation should stipulate voting on election day ONLY, with no absentees, no mail-ins. In my county, EVERY election, there are always these mysterious boxes of absentees and mail-ins that must be counted at the last minute. Ironically, they are always purely democrat!

We must hold our elected servants accountable to the law of the land--State and the US Constitution. We must pursue legislations in our states taking back honesty and ethics. Legislation that will allow political parties other than the Republicrats on the ballotts.

Please go after your state representatives and senators. Also get them to work on getting the amendments 16 and 17 repealed. Let's take back America! I am doing my part--what are you doing?

A Constitutional Convention? Wow! When the government can't work according to the original one??!! One of the most sacred documents written in American, if not all of modern history? It would only give the pols a chance to change things for themselves, thereby making them worse for us...But, with a changed Constitution, there could be no recourse, the changes could make more questionable activities legal. The cure is to legalize our present Constitution.

States' Sovereignty and Common Law Grand Juries have to be main issues to press the federal government to adhere to our Constitution and the states to adhere to their individual ones. As far as Common Law Grand Juries...the people are the fourth branch of government, but should be the first. We are the first branch with our votes, but it's very strange how politicians change once taking office, isn't it? Why should we not have an alernate means of holding lying, cheating, or criminal politicians responsible for their actions when their peers won't? I say, "No to con-con!", resoundingly.

These documents are very clear arguements by both a constitutional scholar and patriot AGAINST a call for a Con Con, and a call FOR a Con Con by the UN.


Start around the bottom of pg 16 (pg 226) of the creepy UN document ....they want nothing more than this to happen, and I am telling you now, you have been warned.

They are trying to create a world government, and they want YOU to start the fire. Please stop playing with matches around the constitution.

Playing with the Constitution is sitting at the grown ups table. I have not seen a grown up in leadership for quite some time.

Call for the convention, and get in line for your North American Union real id, ameros, turn in your gun, sign up for your reeducation camp, and kiss the Republic goodbye.

Since Obama daddy is a Kenya National and obma is a british citizen I sure do not what him to rewrite the Constitution and Nancy Pelosi is in so much troulbe that she could not even try to rewite it. And Harry Reid needs a nursing home to take him awasy

There is no reason to call for a Constitutional Convention no matter who is in power, the Constitution is fine the way it is. The men that signed this wonderful document hammered out the best guide on how to run a country that has ever existed and there is really no reason to mess with it.

The only reason the United States is in trouble now is that WE the Citizens have failed Her. We have not upheld our end of the bargain.

Absolutely, leave the constitution alone. I can not imagine trying to find an equal group of men of virtue that could create such a document today. Lets get back to the original document, and stop worrying about writting a new one. Stop any and all constitutional conventions from both sides.
