I'll mention it here as I am not sure which site I saw it on but on one site a veteran was posting and advising that there is only one legal time to fly the flag upside down and that was as a distress signal and he cited the code that authorized it and suggested we consider flying our flags upside down as a signal to all that our country is in danger either with a note citing the code or a verbal explantion as to why it was being done. I thought that was one of those ideas that could have impact if everywhere you went it was flying upside down enough that people would ask why. The veteran was much more eliquent. I thought I would pass it along.

I hear what your saying, but I found the following info on that. "The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property." It seems to be much more than a statement. Hopefully it won't come to that. I just found out that the flag behind me in my avatar is probably facing the wrong way.

Robert, I am sorry to be one of the late bloomers. I wish I saw the train coming before it got so close, and I wish I had the means to do more about it now. I'm sitting here trying to collect my thoughts, mostly on your question "...where were all these patriots then..." How many flags were being burnt, and who's saying that many people didn't speak up? I think there is a big difference between seeing what might be perceived as some nut doing something appalling, and our own government tearing the country apart. What do you think would be a suitable punishment for someone desecrating the American Flag?

If you shop at a place that dosn't profess to loving God, country, or both, and supporting the troops, think about were your money may be going. It is likely supporting a globalist agenda, and anti Patriot propaganda.
