What is the GOAL of ResistNet and HOW are we going to get there? A few suggestions

Focus, focus, focus:
What’s our goal? Restoring government to its constitutional limits.

Where’s that? Political parties.
Which party exists that has the best chance of generating conservative, Constitution-loving candidates that ResistNet.com members can impact? The Republican Party.

I went to the ResistNet.com main page. Seems there’s three things we’re focusing on. Flip-this-House, R.O.A.R and How to Invade the GOP. And a bus tour.
Sorry, but all but How to Invade the GOP is just more of the same ("Let's get educated!" "Let's hold a sign somewhere and hear the same speeches!" "Let's have another protest"! "Let's send a piece of paper to the congresscritters!") I submit all of this is for naught UNLESS you FIRST tell the congresscritters you are coming after them where it matters -- in the voting ranks of the Republican Party.
One by one, here’s my analysis:
We have to “flip this house?” Okay. But how? Well, the audio says we have to get educated. Okay, then what? That’s as far as it goes. 21,000 people filled out a form. To do what? I guess to get educated. And then what? The “Flip this House” “strategy” doesn’t say.
R.O.A.R. has 79 members. Think 79 members are going to matter?
How to Take Back the GOP has a whopping 196 members. Whoop-dee-do. This is what we SHOULD be doing, but apparently the ResistNet.com members don't think so. Apparently about THREE-TENTHS OF ONE PER CENT of ResistNet.com members thing becoming a precinct committeeman is worthwhile.
Bottom line, we need to be steering people into the Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy. We need ResistNet members to DO SOMETHING THAT MATTERS. We have almost 66,000 members going off in all different directions DOING THINGS THAT DO NOT MATTER. We need to channel these people into ACTION THAT MATTERS. NO?
Does ResistNet.com have a state coordinator in every state? Can’t we make sure that we have the know how in every state about how to become a voting member of the Republican Party? I only have so much time. I’ve compiled on-line instructions for as many states as I can. Found Michigan’s a day or two ago and added it to my little blog. It’s had 8500 hits so far. That’s pathetic. It should have had already 8,500,000. Please promote it. And become a precinct committeeman. And get every conservative you know to do the same. THAT is what matters.

The Flip this House, R.O.A.R., Bus Tour and Black Ribbon projects would all be fine if they ALL FOCUSED ON PROMOTING THE ACTUAL POLITICAL SOLUTION: GETTING INVOLVED IN THE PARTY THAT HAS THE BEST CHANCE OF THROWING OUT THE CURRENT CONSTITUTION-IGNORING CONGRESSCRITTERS – THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.
AGAIN:

ResistNet.com needs to focus, focus, focus on the goal. We know the HOW. Now we need to advertise it. We need to advertise, advertise, advertise that people need to GET INVOLVED IN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AS PRECINCT COMMITTEEMEN. DO THAT FIRST, then do the rest.

Thank you. Since you are helping to run this show, please keep spreading this message.
Forget "sign this petition." Forget "make this phone call." Forget "add you name to this e-mail petition." Forget "mail this pink slip to your congresscritter." NONE of those things matter. The ONLY thing that matters is who wins the elections. If you want conservative candidates to run in the general election, they have to be on the ballot. They can't get on the ballot unless they win the prrimary. If you want the conservative candidate to win the primary, then you have to get involved in Republican Party politics as a precinct committeeman so you can help influence the voters in your precinct to vote for the BEST conservative candidate.
This is not rocket science. It is old-fashioned American party politics as it used to be practiced before everybody got fat and apathetic.

I was in the process of writing a thread on this very same thing, in outlook today so I could post later, LOL ( could only do a little at a time , in between kids naps lunch and dinner. )
If you look I've been trying to talk it up. Once I saw this idea on here........ I knew it was the way.
This seems to be the way to go. ITS the way Obama did it, YUP thats right, they went around and did the very same thing.
I found some old threads from other sites where people were talking about getting it done for the 2008 election in the Obama camp.
I've found this site to be sensory overload at times. Lots of info thats great but can be distracting at times.
I believe we should be focusing on Getting back the GOP and this is the way. Things need to be scaled down in here if its to be
a site for ACTION. ( just my humble opinion, gosh I'm probably gonna get fed to the dogs for that one but ........ hell I dont care I need someone to listen)

I've found there are lots of issues here in my district with PC and other stuff
I'm trying to sort it all out before I jump right in. SEEMS that someone change some of the rules
to becoming a PC and there is some infighting now and a " good ole boys club " but not sure Im still
checking things out. It may have resolved itself by now.

Its a marketing strategy, but it works because these things could be left or placed everywhere
reminding people at all times bringing constant awareness to the cause.

All goals are a achieved through action. Group action starts with trust.
1) Set a meeting place and time. Advertise the agenda.
2) Send notices weekly, then days prior.
3) As long as the agenda is followed, those that show up will gain trust. Directionless meetings demoralize.
4) After the meeting, report the "minutes" to the group. Advertise the success.
5) Repeat.
In the process, others will help you set the agenda. This coalition is builds trust. Report everything. People need to see action and will follow. It takes only one person to lead and start something.

Thank you! Finally some focus and common sense. I just joined this site after spending a lot of time in The 9/12 Project. People are so upset and they feel helpless. They want to do something but don't know what. Your post is the most logical and construction post I've seen, but it should be on the front page! Right now it is buried too far down and people may not see it. I for one will get involved. I've been a member of ourcaucus.com and they are also doing some very constructive things.

P.S. I agree with everything you said about this system's limitations and I hope they can be fixed. I also thing the Chat function should be killed. Every time I go in there, it's the same people talking about the same drivel that accomplishes nothing. I agree, this is the way we can have a real impact! My wife and I became PRECINCT COMMITTEEMAN and PRECINCT COMMITTEEWOMAN a couple of months ago. We participated in the November 3rd elections and we really learned a lot. We are going to help decide who runs in the Republican Party in Erie County, PA.
