I am a 1969 Graduate of the University of Oregon in Economics and recently received from you a hard copy of your Spring 2009 Cascade Magazine and am compelled to respond to two of your articles entitled: "Darwin Rocks the House" as well as "Obama's Promise Meets Reality" which is also available online at your website: http://cascade.uoregon.edu/spring2009/. I had hoped that in the spirit of balanced journalism and academic freedom that you would have given equal or even less than equal time to the other side of the story. Perhaps you have and I am simply not aware of it. If so please document for me where you have given a platform for opposing views. In this regard, I am proposing that you consider the following responses to your articles.

DARWIN ROCKS THE HOUSE:

In your praise of Darwin, did you know the original title of his Origin of the Species book? It was The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or The Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life. First Edition, by Charles Darwin. I have seen the cover. In your touting of Darwin in the delirium of the whole world celebrating his 200th Anniversary and establishing Darwin Day, did you know that Charles Darwin stated this:

Darwin in a letter:
“The more civilized Caucasian races...looking at the world at no distant date. An
endless number of the lower races will have been eliminated by the higher civilized races throughout
the world...” Letter to W. Graham July 3rd, 1881

Darwin in his Descent of Man: “at some future period not very distance future as measured by
centuries, the civilized races will most certainly exterminate the savage races.”

These views accurately mirror Planned Parenthood Founder, Margaret Sanger's views and it is not rocket science to trace them back to Darwin. So why didn't any of your panelists discuss the sinister side Darwin's philosophy and legacy of Darwin or abysmal failures to produce proof of evolution such as Ilya Ivanov's Soviet Russia's experiments to achieve "artificial insemination of the human and anthropoid species"..."Invanov also attempted to use ape males and human females to produced hybrids but was unable to complete the experiment because at least five of the women died" SOURCE "Acts & Facts, ICR,May 2009, p.12-13 ? Did you know Charles Darwin had an agenda to oppose Biblical Christianity that would contaminate his views and the conducting of real science? Did you know that Barack Obama gives the highest accolades to both Darwin and Planned Parenthood and has spoken there heralding them? As though it is not bad enough what President Obama thinks of Planned Parenthood, here is what his Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said about Planned Parenthood Founder Margaret Sanger at her acceptance speech for the Margaret Sanger Award on March 27, 2009:

HILLARY CLINTON, OBAMA'S SECRETARY OF STATE:

"Now, I have to tell you that it was a great privilege when I was told that I would receive this award. I admire Margaret Sanger enormously, her courage, her tenacity, her vision. Another of my great friends, Ellen Chesler, is here, who wrote a magnificent biography of Margaret Sanger called Woman of Valor. And when I think about what she did all those years ago in Brooklyn, taking on archetypes, taking on attitudes and accusations flowing from all directions, I am really in awe of her." Did you know that the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, believed in the extermination of Negroes and is considered one of the founders of modern Eugenics in the United States? Her crusade help pave the way to selective breeding and helped pave the way for the Final Solution and ultimately the Fourth Reich. HG Wells penned this in the foreword of her 1922 book The Pivot of Civilization:


‘We want fewer and better children . . . and we cannot make the social life and the world-peace we are determined to make, with the ill-bred, ill-trained swarms of inferior citizens that you inflict on us.”

I can't help but wonder what Margaret Sanger would have thought about a black man becoming President of the United States. I can't believe Hillary Clinton would accept such an award, given Sanger's view of blacks, and by deduction, the fact that her boss is black! Your publication states that it is in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Doesn't this contradict Darwin's theory of survival of the fittest? Don't both Eugenics, Population Control (Human Ecology) and Survival of the Fittest evolutionary beliefs interfere with, impair, and tamper with natural selection? If you try to speed it along, it is no longer natural. Even abortion is a violent intervention of natural selection. In fact, how do you know that the millions of abortions have not dampened if not prevented the natural selection process of human evolution which might have produced a super race or the next stage of human evolution, that is if you insist on believing in evolution in the first place, which I don't. And eugenics doesn't guarantee improvement anyway, you could end up with a Frankenstein monster race if you open up that Pandora's box! It might be even be a type of Russian roulette, but instead of a bullet in one chamber, five chambers have bullets.

Obama is publicly celebrating both Darwin and Planned Parenthood. I challenge you to now present opposing views in a subsequent edition of your magazine, if you have not already done so, whether or not you agree with them. As a student at the UO I feel somewhat defrauded that much of this truth was never presented either when I was a student, or since. Your magazine articles functioned more like informercials for Darwin and Obama at best and propaganda at the worst. I am constantly receiving phone calls for donations to the University of Oregon, but I am not very inspired to give when only one side of the story is told as though it is fact. At least one of your professors Warren Holmes called Darwin's theories "theories" vs. fact. I would be shocked to see you publish an opposing view in an upcoming publication, though you would certainly have my permission to publish my letter and resources. At least Ben Stein gave a platform and forum, interviewing both sides of the evolution question in his recent movie entitled: "Expelled, No Intelligence Allowed":

I also encourage you to invite Dr. Henry Morris, III to speak at your University and for you to write a balanced article about a just filed lawsuit by the Institute of Creation Research which is in a heated battle over censorship, the First Amendment, and evolution, see: http://www.icr.org/

Your article entitled promoting President Obama: "Promise Meets Reality" panel of experts on Obama's first 100 days was supposed to address the character of Barrack Obama, yet no one did. Therefore, I would like to offer you someone who has challenged it and can prove it. In this regard, why don't you invite Dr. Orly Taitz, born in the Soviet Union, who is handling many of the lawsuits against Barrack Obama regarding his eligibility to be President. Now Obama recently delivered through his Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in person, a billion dollars of U.S. taxpayers money to the PLO which goes right in to the coffers of the Islamic Fundamentalist terrorists bent on the destruction of Israel and extermination of Jews. All this does is help these terrorists set up a beach head to help Islam fulfill is agenda and eschatology to initially wipe Israel from the face of the map, the first step in their intent of globally domination and a global Sharia Law empire, and thus ensure the Final Solution for the Jews! Not once was this question was never asked by the panel.

Another point of contention regarding Obama's character. They just purchased a Portuguese Waterdog. These are VERY expensive dogs which typically run 2-3 thousand dollars. We paid nothing because we got our dog at a shelter. Michelle Obama just purchased several hundred dollar sneakers. I would love a new pair but still wear the pair I bought 30 years ago which were around a hundred dollars. Obama flies pizza chef 860 miles to White House visit site this past April, when he could easily have had great pizza from a host of place in Washington D.C. You can purchase five personal pan pizzas to feed a family of five at Pizza Hut for $25. This kind of extravagance defined the dining habits of King Louis XVI and his wife Marie Antoinette, in France which helped precipitate the French Revolution, but is this our new "change agent"? Now it is a free country (was a free country), and you can buy whatever dogs, pizza or sneakers you want. But Obama is supposed to be our President leading by example to tighten our belts during this Great Recession. He scorns those who go on junkets with taxpayers CARP money, yet has no problem with extravagance on his own personal spending. His most recent junket...his failed mission to Copenhagen to secure the Olympics for Chicago. He binges but expects us to sacrifice. And this does not raise any eyebrows or commentary about his character, to say nothing about his poor judgment?

CONCLUSION:

I realize that your magazine could not talk about every issue regarding Darwin, Obama, and Islam, but some of these issues could be stated in a few sentences and your articles left out critical issues that must be addressed if you are to be fair and balanced.

Were you to read and listen to these interviews and articles, you should be able to see how slanted and one-sided both of your Darwin and Obama articles in your Cascade Magazine were. It is not the UO alone that is responsible for promoting only one side of the story regarding Darwin and Obama, as most universities promote the same teachings. But because I went to this school, and you sent me the magazine, I still have a personal stake and obligation to respond to you directly. I do not expect to change your views, and I don't even mind your presenting opposing views, but at least present the opposition fairly. I combed through the responses in your Obama article by the various professors, hoping that they would at least address some of the more glaring issues that Obama is causing which bear directly on our national security, such as his constitutional eligibility to even be President in the first place, his trashing of the Second Amendment by pressing for the CIFTA Treaty, his national socialist agenda for health care, his assault on the First Amendment with the Fairness Doctrine or one of its mutations. Now Obama tells us that the United States will never be at war with Islam. This Neville Chamberlain naivitee is diametrically opposed to the very foundation and eschatology of Islam's own teachings from their own Scriptures and authoritative Haddiths. Both Naziism and Islam are and were Final Solution Religions, the main difference being that Islam doctrine intends to exterminate both Jews and Christians from the entire face of the earth. If you don't believe me, read Craig Winn's Prophet of Doom in Mohammed's own words. Whether we will be at war with Islam will not be determined by President Obama, but by the doctrine of Islam itself which requires Jihad until the entire world is a global caliphate under Sharia Law. This is Islam 101 whether you are Sunni or Shia Muslim. Was anyone naive enough to believe that it was only "Fundamentalist Nazism" or "Fundamentalist Shintoism", that was a global threat because Nazism is a religion of peace? Which Arab State is offering a two State solution, so that Jews will have land and an independent nation within any Arab Nation? And where is the right of return for Jews in all of the Arab countries where Jews lived for thousands of years? Do you promote that at the UofO? For that matter, which Arab State(s) are offering two state solutions for Palestinians? Iraq certainly isn't! In which Muslim nation can a person set up a stage in a public square and preach Christianity? Do you think it will be any different once they rule the whole world? Fundamentalist Islam is not some archaic relic now extinct. This is not a statement of my own prejudice, but rather it is simply a statement of the facts of their own stated positions and the blueprint for the end times eschatolgy, demanded by their own Scriptures and governing Haddiths.

I don't expect you to publish or give a forum to an opposing view, though I hope you do. But at least I can and will present this to the approximately thousand radio stations I frequent and my own media database.

Dear Lisa,

Thank you for your response. But if you don't present the other side of the story in your promotion of Darwin, it will give every appearance that Cascade Magazine is a propaganda tool of both Darwin and Obama at the least and the impression that Cascade Magazine more resembles Pravda. Secondly, now that Obama has won the Nobel Peace Prize, whose intent is to globalize his views, how is that no longer timely? The Creation movie which also promotes Darwin just came out as a major film release, so how is that not timely? You could have presented even an excerpt of my view (or any other published scholar) for that matter with an opposing view to what you wrote. In fact, you could even have inserted your own personal disclaimer and Cascade Magazine disclaimer, stating "these statements do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the editor or publisher of Cascade Magazine", but that you put them in their in the interest of balanced journalism. That I could respect. I even welcome your documentation of any rebuttal of the facts I sent you. It remains even more troubling that even when presented with the truth of Darwin views in his own words, your refuse correction and refuse to even alert any of your readers or equip them with an opposing view.

Our massive press release has not yet gone out to our media database or any other U of O Alumni yet, which is scheduled to go out this Fall in conjunction with my new DVD. Your letter and original articles(s) in Cascade could not be better "poster child" exhibit or evidence to prove that they are precisely correct in their national campaign of what you and Universities are doing to brainwash the next generation.
