Bill O'Reilly pens ode to Obama (seriously)
Fox News's Bill O'Reilly, a frequent critic of President Obama, has written an unexpected and glowing tribute to the president's character for this Sunday's Parade magazine.
Under a headline of "What President Obama Can Teach America's Kids," the conservative talk show host cites examples from Obama's at-times difficult past to demonstrate how children can overcome adversity and illuminate what an inspiration the president is.
O'Reilly says Obama's "breathtaking achievement presents five important lessons for all children:" Forgiveness, Respect, Persistence, and the notion that in America anything is possible.
In doing so, O'Reilly uses language that could have come out of the president's campaign talking points.
Under the Persistence category, O'Reilly notes: "For example, in 2000, he lost his run for Congress in Illinois. He could have given up and gone into the private sector where high-salaried jobs awaited him. But he preferred public service. So, just four years later, he ran again, this time winning a U.S. Senate seat."
O'Reilly stays away from Obama's policies in the essay, but writes admiringly that he's already established himself as a historical figure.
"Barack Obama, a youngster in Hawaii without his parents around, has toughed it out and become one of history’s great stories, no matter what happens going forward," he writes at the end. "What he has achieved in his 48 years is simply astounding. Consider the odds. The United States is a nation of more than 300 million citizens. Only one person is currently the Commander in Chief. That man had no fatherly guidance, is of mixed race, and had no family connections to guide him into the world of national politics. That adds up to one simple truth that every American child should be told: “If Barack Obama
can become the President of the United States, then whatever dream you may have can happen in your life."

Yes, I agree, O'Reilly has been very generous to Obama. I believe it actually started w/ the campaign. I have been very surprised at comments and what I call support for the usurper he has taken. He is also very arrogant, so, I guess that make them 2 peas in a pod. I would also like to know where to go and read this article.

He interviewed Obama for three nights during the Republican Convention on prime time taking away from their night of glory, at that time I realized that O'reilly is in bed with Obama. I don't watch his show any longer. We should all e-mail him and let him know that he has insulted too many concerned American citizens and we will boycot his show and all the sponsers that advertise on his show, we have the power to drop his show from no.1 to hopefully no.20.
We have to start putting these pinheads on notice and we have ample time to bring them to their knees, where they belong. They want to align themselves with the left wing media then we can bring them down just like NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC....they are all struggling with ratings, we can make O'reilly's show join them.

The thing to remember about Mr O'Reilly is that he has a simple litmus test with those liberals he talks about: Until they have the 'guts' to appear on his show, they are librul pinheads. Once they 'take it like a man/woman' under his grilling, THEN they are OK guys and gals. Once that happens, you see the man bend over backwards to be 'fair and balanced' and 'no spin' on their pflumpf and liberal BS... And back last summer BHO had the 'guts', so now the benefit of the doubt ever after that, it may not be a Kumbaya fest, but it is his version of the next best thing to it... knowing that makes it easier to reconcile his before/after attitude adjustments and treatment of stories. So, following on the heels of his 'Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity' book success, he's using the same type of spin to encourage and inspire the children reading to aim high and achieve mightily. If you miss Parade magazine in your Sunday paper, they'll post the issue online Sunday afternoon... FWIW

I can not stomach O'Reilly anymore! He is an Obama kool-aid drinker. He consistantly defends Obama and argues with any guest who dares to point out Obama's socialist/communist agenda. Recently he's been insulting anyone who criticizes Obama and calls them "right wing nuts" and "wackos" etc. Today he even thought it was ok for the govt to ask the democrats to spy on fellow citizens and report them to the govt if they disagree with ObamaCare. O'Reilly had no problem with that! He also questioned whether the Town Hall meetings were "manufactured angry mobs".
