Dear Citizens, Those who would take away the rights we declared in 1776, documented in 1787, and ratified in 1791, do so in 2009 at their own political peril! Accordingly, we must organize to remove the FIC (Federal Incumbent Club) in Congress in 2010 and replace it with honest public servants. The only way I know to do this is through the GOP and the ballot box. In the same manner, we must run the current Obama Administration out of town in 2012. I think Glenn Beck is our interim leader. What do you think?

The GOP and the ballot box is no better than what we have now. Bush started this socialism mess and McCain put a nail in the coffin. Why vote for a socialist wannabe (Republican) when I can vote for a real socialist?

Please consider working towards going back to the roots of what our Founding Fathers (especially Jefferson) wanted and that is doing 90% of the business of government at the township level. It sounds like a long term project and it is (our government was supposed to be managed by all the people their whole life). Running out one scoundrel simply opens the door to another unless "We the people" can govern the way we were meant to.

I will take you up on Glenn Beck as our interim leader but I know that he would very politely decline and would cite the history of Oliver Cromwell and George Washington as his reasons. Can any one share the related history?

Thanks for your thoughtful reply. My idea is that the only way we can regain contoll is through existing mechanisms and unfortunately the two-party system is part of it. I'm pissed off with the Republicans, make no mistake. But the Democrat majority, lead by Pelosi and Reid, are terrible automatons controled by the Obamamania. We must rid ourselves of them! Longer range, new ideas might be adopted that would secure what the founding fathers intended. I agree that Glenn might not want the leadership role, but I have approached him anyway.

I agree, Fred. Although the "moderate" or "liberal" Republicans lost their way, there is a battle now going on for the heart of the party. Don't know how some seem to be missing this.

I had previously signed with with Campaign for Liberty. At the time I didn't know it was a Libertarian group. However, they do have some great ideas for promoting themselves. One is to join the Republican Party, get to know folks, get involved, and later be able to be in some position to make a difference.

I've decided to go this route - not for the Libertarian group, but for the Conservatives. Although I volunteered to work on campaigns and pass out literature, it will only be for Conservative candidates.

A third party won't work so we'd better be prepared to make changes within the Republican party.

Hi Sharon,

That's what I think too. We do not have sufficient lead time to have an effective political revolution. So, in order to do something about the mess that the Democrats and the Obama Administration have gotten the country into, we must use the current system. Please see my TBA Objectives in the attachment. In latin, facta non verba means "actions speak louder than words". So pretty soon, that has to happen. We need to evolve from the talking state to to the doing state!!! And you are a great example. Thanks, and go get 'em!

Jaro,

Down deep, I like what you have said. I know little about the law, but I understand that the 14th Amendment has somehow "trumped" the 10th, giving the United States Government absolute control by declaring us citizens, in addition to being citizens of our respective states. This happened after the Civil War and has carried through Roosevelt up to 2009. I'm a practical person, but willing to listen to your ideas on how not to "waste the next 4 or 8 years fighting the libs". You can see what I have proposed to Beck in the attachment. What is your proposed path forward?

Jaro, I don't mean vote Republican just for the sake of voting Republican.

I made my opinion very clear on the phone call to RNC Steele after I read how FL liberal Republican Gov. Crisi (not sure of the spelling here) said in an article that he felt Democrats would vote for him. I told Steele that if those Republicans were counting on the Dems, then we'd vote Dems just to keep him out. Then maybe the Republicans will learn something by 2012.

Ok, that sounds pretty severe, but no more the "lesser of two evils".

Now look at it this way. We don't need ALL Republicans voted in 2010. What we need are enough Conservative Republicans to stop the Obama and Democrat agenda. Be aware of what's going on in other states and how those candidates stand. In Team Sarah last election we all helped other candidates in other states by making calls for them.

Hopefully you saw my other discussion concerning: Conservatives racing ahead in EU parliament voting

I'm really torn on supporting a Republican because the two party system is so entrenched in power and big interest group politics. I do feel the "CONSERVATIVE" Republican party ( not a RINO) is a heck of alot better then liberal, socialists DEMOCRATIC party - it almost seems that now more than any other time a new party "Constitution Party" could actually get the backing and blow those two parties out of the water! In the Ross Perot days, we just weren't ready, but I think the time is getting awfully ripe! Either a strong and reliable and "attractive" ( not physically only) candidate coming from the Republican Party or a fresh party!

Hi Linda,

I would jump at a "Constitutional Party" in a "New York Minute", but it would take much support and focused leadership . . . and, lead time to clear the rascals out in 2010 and 2012. I think there may be enough conservative Republicans, Independents, and Blue Dog Democrats who would be with us. If Glenn Beck would commit to leading us, I'd follow him. Short of that, I believe our only hope is to vote the Republicans in.

Jaro, not to disagree but we still have the rights as they are unalienable. We just need to work for them.

Regarding the two party system, I was in a meeting several weeks ago where it was made clear that one has to move way up in either party to change the way things work. The first line leaders go to the upper management in the state with reasonable requests and are simply told "no". I am keeping in contact with the people who are trying to change that so I will gladly let everyone know if a change is seen.

So, both working within the Rs and making the government work like Thomas Jefferson intended are long term projects. With the Ds we have incentive to move ahead. I fear that with the Rs we may become complacent again.

The "new" we need is the "old". People will recognize it. People will respond to it. It is our heritage but only if we work for it.

Thanks Robert, I think we have to work within the system (if our stomachs can stand it) and strongly support the fundamental concepts that the founding fathers fought for . . . free of excessive legal interpretation! I know . . . my legal oriented friends will hold their heads. But We the People clearly understandable what was meant. See my blog for a summary.

All,

So we have the 14th Amendment trumping the 10th Amendment, Jaro says we are pawns subject to a Federal Corporation, Joyce says that we are soverigns and should not admit to being persons, she also says that we now have no rights, and Nixon orders Federal Regions that trump the states. Most citizens are not aware of all this. And now, they are citizens of the Federal Government as well as of the states and this weakens the Republic.

I would say this however . . . if an anouncement ever came from the President or from the Congressional leaders, or from the Supreme Court that our Unalienable Rights as articulated in the Declaration and the Bill of Rights, and everyone knows what these are, were not valid any more because of all of the above legal manuvers, YOU WOULD HAVE REAL REVOLUTION IN THIS COUNTRY. Restoring our Republic, compatible with the 21st century, does make sense, but I fear not possible until all Americans fully understand that our rights are in jeapordy.

Without focus, publicity, and understanding, what else can we do but try to kick the Dems out via election?

My stomach can not handle it, Fred.

I propose that we do both. I will get as many as I can to work from the township level and you work to stop Washington DC. May our passions sustain us that we may meet in the middle with a reformed (or eliminated) Republican party and people at the sovereign township level governing themselves; except in the very few areas that the state governments needs to govern; except for the even fewer areas that the Federal Government needs to govern - all as granted by "We the people."
